We did segregate for one game (United on the opening night I think)with temporary barriers. I was on the ground safety committee at the time and remember ripping my kecks as I passed through it! Im sure a more permanent segregation would be possible but let’s get the attendances up first.

He needs massive shoulder to support the massive chip he has on them! Ungracious in defeat and when Sky were interviewing him after the match looked like he was sucking a mouthful of wasps. The french have a word for it, “Tosseur”.

Must be a chance too that some of the cars damaged belonged to Utd fans who live in Wigan

Presume its something to do with Blackburn 2 – Liverpool 3

They should use what I call the “Granny in the pension queue” test. If the contact would have been enough to send your granny sprawling across the Post Office floor complete with triple somersault, then it’s a foul/penalty. If not, it aint! All this “he felt a contact” is complete cobblers.

I heard tonight that his funeral is on Thursday, 12 noon at St Mary’s Standishgate then at Bolton crematorium.

Just found out it was the Tommy who used to coach Junior Latics when I used to be chairman of the football section. What a tragedy. Tommy was a fantastic bloke with a great sense of humour. The lads used to love Tommy and Malc and we’ve had some great times together. I don’t live far from where it happened and was working in the back garden about the time it happened and heard the police/ambulance sirens. If anyone finds out the funeral details please post on here. God Bless, Tommy.

Is that the Tommy Berry who used to be a coach at Junior Latics with Malc Veall?

    in reply to: Injuries #84142

According to Latics official website Moses was checked out at the hospital and has not got a fractured jaw and should be OK. Rodellaga and Diame are both expected to make a quick recovery
