Since February we have improved, but of late we have been outstanding which to me is a surprise. The one thing that has made me laugh is the I told you so Lightsiders, it was only a matter of time, we have been gradually improving for two and a half years, we all saw this coming

Have a listen….he not only dreamed it, he tried to tell the darksiders. You were probably busy being smug, “knowing” you were right, after all we’d just lost 8 on the bounce at this point.
I agree he’s not going to be negative, it wouldn’t be bob if he did, but reading the various write ups and listening to the tapes it’s clear that whether you agree it should be needed or not, whether you think the players wages are obscene or not, it actually helped the players. For the club to call on the fans so they can thank the fans for that support and the away support at Anfield, is more than just slick PR, it’s them telling the fans it actually helped.
Apart from the few on TNS who are really not happy they were wrong and are having a pop at the vital lads that pushed it, it’s united fans. As Griff says, wipe the egg off, and allow thems that can and want to to, let them get on with it and enjoy the atmosphere they create. Unfortunately I can’t do it, but I think it seems that the turn out will be bigger and it will help make for a great atmosphere. Your prosecution evidence doesn’t stack up, (you got your numbers wrong), so there would be an aquittal

You’ve given opinion, and touted it as fact. I happen to think it’s quite a reasonable request for the club to make, but it’s not fact, it’s opinion.
You do realise this “statistically unquestionable” is wrong don’t you. Maybe that’s what’s hampering responses.
You miss the point, the team played like a title chasing team today and they are on looking for a verbal scrap. The team did the talking today lads. the noble folk that defend Roberto don’t need to.
When Ripping the shit out of a mid table team is apparently piss poor – it’s kind of a give away that you’re dealing with retards….and it’s why I never bother posting.At the end of last season the current manager despite keeping us up was still under fire from some myself included. A few on here were still saying that there were no real obvious solutions to us changing manager ie ” Who would come here ” etc. Now at that time Chris Hughton, Big Sam and Martin Oneil were all out of work and have since got jobs. All 3 clubs that employed them respectively have improved beyond belief ! I think we could have tempted two of those three no danger ! Discuss……..
PS Please don’t say ” Why would we want to get rid of a manager who had just kept us up ” Our fortunate survival papered over some serious cracks in my view ! Hindsight has proved me not far wrong !Improved beyong belief – don’t think so, I’ve seen it with my own eyes, so believe it quite easily.
2 of the 3 “improved” clubs are now playing Bristol City, not Manchester City, and Leeds United, not Man United. Sunderland have spent money.
