cant see us beating newcastle
so we can concentrate on getting to a cup final as the league is getting too hard for the likes of us

I really don’t understand your logic here.

Are you genuinely suggesting that the players as they run out on the pitch today are thinking “don’t think I’ll bother today. This is getting too hard. I’ll save my energy for the Cup game at Wembley – because Roberto’s going to pick me for sure”?

Is that REALLY what you’re saying?

i think that playing in the semi (& hopefully the final) might work in our favour. Surely the players will play out of their skins to get automatically picked for those two big games.

I’m actually thinking a villa win will be the best option, even though it will put them 6 points clear of us.

2 reasons, a draw puts QPR above us on GD, so that leaves us next to bottom if Utd beat reading at tea time. That’s not the best position to be in going into the Newcastle game.

Secondly this is a home game for Villa so I’d sooner um get a result at home than QPR getting owt away.

Not being funny fatboy but being in the bottom 3 isn’t the best place to be before playing any game. It doesn’t matter where about in that bottom 3. But to have a team be 6 points ahead rather that 4 is insane. Take your prestricption ffs (smiley face thingy)
Not being funny broth brain, but QPR and Reading are still below us, a win tomoz puts us 3 nurps behind Villa. Our next game is Norwich at home Villa’s next game is Liverpool, but still have to come to the DW.
Look at the fixtures and not just today’s game you fekin thick wazzuk! B)
So with you assuming that all the results go for us that would put us 5 points ahead of villa (if they’d of drawn yesterday. But by winning they would only be 3 points behind us. I’d know which I’d rather have.

Just studying the table as QPR equalise. They (and Villa) have played 2 more games than us, so a QPR win wouldn’t be that bad. I don’t understand how a Villa win would be a good result

I remember working away once and was having a drink with a work pal after a good days graft. Someone had left a rugby leaguer paper in the pub. On the back was the scores and attendences for all games in all the divisions. We totted them all up (and I mean ALL divisions) and it didn’t beat the attendance that Utd had on the same weekend.

The FA should have made the national arena accessible to all fans by building it in a central location – somewhere in the Midlands. It’s unfair to require fans from the north to travel to club – and national – events in London. Unless the FA are prepared to include travel in the cost of a ticket!

All the play offs now go to Wembley – but in 2012 there was only one London team;
Blackpool v West Ham United
Huddersfield Town v Sheffield United
Cheltenham Town v Crewe Alexandra
Luton Town v York City

Even the Championship play off did not fill Wembley. Blackpool did not sell all their tickets – though West Ham obviously wanted more. The League One play off attracted 52,100 – perhaps more would have gone to Old Trafford. I’m sure Cheltenham and Crewe fans, and Luton and York fans, would have enjoyed a trip to the Midlands – Nottingham, Derby or Aston Villa would be candidates.

In 2012, a Wembley FA Cup semi-final for Tottenham v Chelsea suited the fans. It did not suit the fans for other game Liverpool v Everton. The year before, Manchester City played Manchester United and Bolton played Stoke.

The FA operate Wembley for their own financial benefit, not for the convenience of the fans. I am reluctant to add to their coffers.

FA stands for F**king Arseholes

But you’d expect a ticket for the Final, Phil?

Well that is what I have stated ! How many do you envisage us taking to the semi final ? How many more would go to the final ? The two figures will be very wide apart trust me !
You’d have to leave before 85 minutes to get a quick getaway from there, Phil.
Sick of hearing this Bollox about leaving early. The lads paid his money he can leave when he likes, as can any other fan. Fookin hell what does it matter.

Have you got a full kit?
Does you have a latics bed spead?
Have you bought every programme at every game you went to?
Have you got a L4T1C5 number plate on your car?

If not does it make you less of a fan?

Does it Bollox!

we play Chelsea on the 9th feb at their place.
Why should we fear them if they can’t beat Reading -worst team I’ve seen this season!
