And speaking of moles on arses, Sam Allardyce was on the gogglebox earlier.
OK, as long as you promise not to laugh. YES i have.
I’m not telling you on what butt cheek though.Have you?
Or as Kevin Keegan would say……..A mole on the wall.
Thats a fair point. But it still shouldn’t stop a defender closing the man down. They are paid their wages to defend, which none of them did.
If somebody at your workplace was not doing their job, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to do yours does it?
As i said earlier though, Caldwell has been our most consistant performer recently so we shouldn’t crucify him or the rest for that matter but it has cost us dear. This funny “activity” goes on at football grounds the full lenghth and breadth of the country, Old Trafford, Emirates and Wolves spring to mind quite recently.
It actually looked quite impressive seeing Wigan fans “streaming” out the ground, call it an optical illusion if you will but that vast quantity of fans must have been indide the ground and hey presto, a healthy looking home support.Thats quite funny that Mitty.
Gomez “The worst midfielder you have ever seen??”
That’s a bold statement. Is he really worse than say, Stefan Bidstrup or Alan McLoughlin even.
Granted, Caldwell has been outstanding recently, however none of our central back “3” closed their striker down for the first goal. In my book, that is bad defending.Yesterday was as bad as i have seen Wigan in many a season and it was UNACCEPTABLE.
However tomorrow may well be the kick up arse that the manager needs.
This will, in no uncertain terms be filtered down to the players.
I have for the most part been 100% behind the manager and squad and i refuse to deviate from that.
However, i for one predict a backlash for the Norwich game next Sunday and fancy an away win.
It’s too easy these days for people to throw the towel in. I have never been like that and never will and im not in the slightest bit embarrased to admit it.I would’t say he is the exception to the rule.
i have basically identical circumstances.Come on Standish, you should know by now that reasonable balanced views are not allowed on here.
Looks lethal in front of goal. Here check him out, i think he could be the answer.
First of all Nuneaton, my point if you read the initial post again was if you want the manager out DO SOMETHING about it instead of hiding behind your keyboard slagging the manager off. You will also find that i haven’t said anywhere that i am backing the manager, i did say however that the Chairman of the club has always timed his hiring and firing of managers perfectly so i suppose we should trust him on this one aswell.
I do think there is ore chance of us avoiding relegation with a stable ship. By all means get rid of the manager, but i have yet to hear 1 decent recommendation for a replacement from anybody. Please enlighten us all. And the “anybody but Roberto” option is not allowed!!Sorry, your right and i’m wrong. I know nothing about football and you know everything. I don’t go to any games and never have done and you go to all the games. You are ace.
Swindon, Notts County bad results yeah for sure. 9 changes from the normal starting 11 tho wasn’t it for the Swindon game?
As for Crystal palace & Blackpool, don’t make me laugh, what gives us the god given right to be beating these teams. Is this the same Crystal Palace team that knocked Manchester United out of the cup?
And Blackpool beat Liverpool home and away last season?
Please correct me if i am wrong. Please think before you post tripe fella.Regarding Paul Jewell’s appointment i would say yes that was his remit, without a doubt. It’s called ambition.
What do you think he said to him?
Roberto is not “a joke”. I seem to remember his doing a splendid job down at swansea. Was he not also the first manager to turn over a so called “big four” club?? He has his faults, yes. He also has his qualities.
If you are so keen on getting rid, please post a list of potential replacements who, first of all would take the Wigan job and secondly work within the restraints of the club.
This i am looking forward to.
