It doesnt matter , the Dave Whelan haters hate him because of who he is , if we go the way of Hull its because of Dave Whelan not running the club in a fit and proper way , if we stay as we are its Dave Whelans fault for not spending enough.
They have an axe to grind and they use WAFC as a very thin veil to have a go.
“Martinez , get Scotland off the pitch , he`s useless”
“Martinez , why didnt you bring Scotland off the bench sooner”
Sorry Bob , you cannot win my friend !!
I also agree, but we better stay positive for all the true fans on here who are so positive and think we will win the league and how dare anybody challenge anybody at our club.Fig please go asap and for any fee as you are rubbish, spaniard please go with him!
Nobody minds anybody challenging decisions made by people in charge at the club , thats natural , not everyone agrees all the time.
What nobody likes is people ( LB , Natdan etc ) who are waiting to pick , moan , disagree with even the smallest of irrelevent mistakes or decisions made by the club , you give no support whatsoever to Wigan Athletic.
Would you describe yourselves as supporters of WAFC ? given the actual meaning of the phrase , i would say not.
Would you describe yourselves as fans ( fanatics ) , again given the meaning of the word against the obvious distain you have for the club , i would say not.
So , it begs the question , why are you here?
We can separate the two camps here , the anti Dave Whelan brigade who have no business nous whatsoever , you can find these people stacking shelves , McDonalds , wharehouses etc
and have the usual workers v boss mentality. The pro Dave Whelan are people who have brains in their heads , company bosses and the higher end of the employment ladder , people who know what it takes to balance books and make a business work.
You know which camp you are in and you know im correct.
Makin , can you explain the reasons you chose the phrase “Evil Baron” , i can understand the protector one but why would he be an evil baron?
Some people are quite good at humour , some people shouldnt even bother !!!
So if you was researching a subject of any kind , in order to back up your arguement , you would produce articles which agree with your viewpoint , wouldnt you?
If what you are saying is true , then only people who were the originators of any article could use it to prove their point.
No , the article backs up my views on the matter.

Does anyone else? #15051Wigan Athletic has a history , it doesnt include cup runs or promotions it doesnt include winning a place in the PL or all those honours we got as the best non league team ever to grace these shores.
No our real history is people , from the word go we have people who have their hearts and souls into making Wigan Athletic into what we have today , from the owners and chairmen to the die hards , cleaners and tea ladies and for people to sit there and declare that the highest profile and highest league position that the club has ever enjoyed should be given up for a place in a lower league is an insult of the higest order to every person who has dedicated their lives into making Wigan Athletic live on.
You should be truely ashamed of yourselves.
28 November 2009 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Another Dave Whelan uneducated approach thread/topic! #14053And thinks more of Blackburn Rovers ! Ask him about his life and he will invariably drone on about how he broke his fcukin leg in that cup final ! Free pies for Rovers fans and fcuk all for us but a bunch of championship she-ite ! Sits in his ivory tower counting his money and dribbling all over it !
If ever a post oozes jealousy this is the one !!!!
How about standing behind Tunksy`s goal at Mansfield as he saved 4 out of 5 penalties ( if my memory serves me right ) to send us to Wembley in 1985.
Theres only defining moment in the history of WAFC , one that has been the foundation of everything that has been built upon …… 1978 and the momentous moment we found out that we had been elected to the football league.
Now that was a day !!!!!
That was up there if not better than the prem promotion.
Johansson was a very much underated player , for some reason never got his chance but never let us down when he did.
A good run in the team would have seen him to be a very good player indeed , remember his 2 goals at Spurs.
