It’s not him this time, just a general article. I would prefer him to stay but show that he’s happy to be here and play wherever he’s told.
The thought that any football manager will change his tactics because a bunch of got-nothing-better-to-do-than-talk-drivel-on-message-boards berks want him to is beyond laughable.Hey, stop having a go at everyone, Bob wants unity, burk !
Is Cheeseman, Ironing Board George ?
He’ll be out enjoying his birthday tonight probably anyway.
Why do we ?
He probably wouldn’t but if he comes into contact with any fans at all, we all seem to agree on this point at least. The Manchester and County 8-)
Cant understand the way whelan does the ticket pricing, Ok the season tickets are rock bottom but as every one knows we never fill the ground no matter who plays at the d.w.
Should be doing prices for liverpool and other big games game £15 for an adult or £20 for adult and a kid or even lower because more fans in ground equals more programmes, ale, pies etc being sold plus hopefully keep hold of fans young and old for years to come.
By the way not knocking whelan because we would not even have a club to watch if not for him, Just think needs to do more to get fans through the gate.
there is a family stand which is always empty surely they could do a really cheap promotion for families in this stand, so they are not under the feet in the East
Good idea
b) Will a red carnation do ?
If it is accompanied by the other entry criteria, I’d gladly accept a red rather than pink carnation :D
Just read it again, what size is considered huge ? I think a flasher mack might be needed in order to get served and avoid arrest.
They had something at Mansfield the other week, fans had to give donations but got in free (i think), don’t know how much success they had with it, got them some free publicity on the TV though.
If I was able to set ticket prices for this one game as a trial, I’d try adults £9, kids £2. They’ll never know unless they try it. At £30 a ticket I think there will be less than 17500 on.
Happy Birthday runt boy

Wigan-based Liverpool fans won’t be allowed to buy tickets, they won’t be on the database and it is a recipe for trouble when these local teams fans come in our end, I’m normally fairly calm but it wound me up when the Everton fans in the West stand were taking the urine when they scored.
If enough Wiganers could be persuaded to attend, there wouldn’t be tickets available for other clubs fans.£30 is daft but the powers that be don’t seem to see it, Whelan’s the millionaire though, I’m not.
Not a chance, its on telly and it’ll be on in the pubs and on the net. Wigan would by and large sit on its backside, shake its head at even the slightest error from the players and then wonder from its armchair why the stadium isnt full and we get slated by the media for poor crowds. This seems to contradict or at least answer your other post about prices.
I’m all for trying to get more people in but….”incentives for those who commit to more than a single game”, what’s all that about, come to 2 games and get 3 free??? We play 19 home games a season, our season isnt just about when Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal come to town. Our ST prices are low enough, if you can be 99% certain of getting to at least 15 home games, there’s no excuse for not paying less than £20 a game.
Is anybody going to pay £30 a game at the moment though ?
i dont think our massive support is paying the wages. might pay hotels bills, but I doubt even that.Player sales and Sky money should go a long way towards paying the bills though.
