Graham barrow… I read in Mick Quinn’s very entertaining book ” who ate all the pies” in the chapter when he had a spell at Springfield Park. Larry Lloyd who was a bit of a bully by all accounts said something to barrow which he did not like and offered out Lloyd for straightener which he bottled out of.

as long as your happy that’s ok but you do sit in a stand of people perhaps 60% of them (the old uns) who’s main concern is not the club but when mr reaper is going to pay them a visit?

    Riddles and Forked tongue?…

    Oh Dear fella….

check your last four drink encouraged posts..

there are no riddles……it is only those that can’t keep up with what they have last said, or have the ability to remember what they did yesterday.

No probs there then …….. ;)
ha ha ha how do you know i have been drinking
i should put a disclaimer on my posts ha ha ha ha

Jeff, sorry to burst your bubble but, apart from the odd anti-Paki chant and that off-beat drum, generally speaking over in the West, you can hear jack coming from the East.

So you can get off your high, “dougie river side” horse

chris i am not disputing that as the E2 brigade have a lot to learn but what we do hear at least comes from the east. what I want to hear is 2 stands egging each other on which happens at other clubs. I never hear nothing from that stand( apart from groans). not saying every one in there is not passionate about the club but apart from your self and others the average age in that stand must be (a wild stab in the dark here ha ha ha 56)

not good enough! 2 stands egging each other on would be great. the south is dads and lads and the lads are the future but west stand hang your head in shame.

Who was singing the ol’ ‘Springfield Chants’ then……….. ;)

To be fair, there are a few ‘Foghorn Legorns’ among us – and should the ‘East Stand’ wish to enter a grown-up swearing competition…..there are some ‘oxford blues’ who could teach the youngsters a thing a two. Benefits of sitting in the “West” are: we can abuse, in no particualr order: visiting manager, substitutes, liner, fourth official, home manager :o , and those officious pomos tvvats who sit behind us pretending to have an interest in what’s going on with their cheap suits and wine stained shirts (Oh! Jay……black jacket, short tie and a wooley hat is not a fashion statement these days – carrying a couple of extra pounds there fella.. ;) )

We play our part…………don’t knock it.

    ;)
this might be the case micky and we don’t here it. come to think of it we don’t here nothing apart from groans. i sit E 4 and there are some miserable C.NTS who sit there but we need to start generating a atmosphere apart from E 2 ?. come on west stand your football club needs you!
‘Bob’…..never doubted that. All clubs need a ‘Kop End’ for us it’s the East….can’t handle the pressure then stop complaining – you certainly won’t get the support by suggesting singing…

“”WEST STAND WEST STAND GIVE US A SONG chants and then when they don’t play perhaps a CAN YOU HEAR THE WEST STAND SING NO NO CAN YOU HEAR THE WEST STAND SING I CAN’T HEAR A FCUCKING THING ”

you’d make us a lauging stock – you could also add “your suppout is fcuking siht”….. and my personal favorite…. “we can see you sneaking out” (which from a West Stand point of view is ironic as the East empties quicker than whores drawers…

Get with the programme – a man of your age should remember their roots – we act ours out.

    ;)
forget it phil as micky speaks in riddles and forked tongue :P
