i have it on very good authority from someone who works at the club that the new kit will be nike for 8 years with an option for them to get rid after 3 years if we are relegated.
hes been very reliable in the past so i have no reason not to believe him

    I hope yer right :)

    Because he is my Idol!

    Would love at the club

David Wheater says he is planning to be at Middlesbrough next season, but accepts a decision may be taken out of his hands this summer.

The home-grown defender had been tipped to leave The Riverside last summer after Boro’s relegation from the Premier League, only to stay for the club’s disappointing Championship campaign.

He now has just 12 months remaining on his contract and is again likely to attract interest from clubs in the top flight over the coming weeks – with Bolton and Wigan reportedly ready to lock horns for his services.

The 23-year-old, who has made over 130 appearances for Boro, is keen to stay on Teesside and aid the club’s bid for a return to the Premier League next season.

However, he is also aware that any need to bring in extra finance could lead to him being sold during the transfer window.

“I’ve always said I’m happy to stay and I wouldn’t ask for a transfer, but it’s for the manager, Keith Lamb and the chairman to sort out, really,” Wheater told the Evening Gazette.

“I’ve got a year left, so I’ll see what happens in the summer.

“Obviously, if I’m here I want us to get promoted, but you don’t know where you’re going to be with the way football is at the moment, clubs need cash.

“Obviously, I’ve got a year left so I’ll definitely be back for pre-season. This is my club so I’m going to try my hardest, until I leave.”

We are linked with this guy any word?

Steven Caldwell is preparing to team up with his brother Gary at Wigan after being released by Burnley.

Defender Caldwell, 29, has been troubled by a groin injury but is considered a reasonable gamble by Wigan on a free transfer.

He could initially replace Gary, who is likely to be out for at least five months after surgery to both his hips.

Well at the Chelsea game word was going round and on Sky Sports that day during the game it was said it was to be his last game for us?

Why would you even make a thread about this…Martinez isn’t going anywhere…Yet

    in reply to: Melchiot #33672

Tbh I really don’t think that Caldwell is captain material after getting sent off 3 times since coming from Celtic in January….
