The support for the team was superb on Friday night during the usual first 15 to 20 minutes. The fans were just so frustrated again with a pretty inept performance.
Well one man could convince you, me and others. Many fans need re-assurance from him and to hear his views on where he has lead us to now. Not heard much at all from him lately. Seen the actions at the last window but the silence is still deafening.
And The Stadium Of Shite is packed out every week Mutty. A City the size of Makemland and the only senior club in the whole of County Durham. Dozens of individual towns as populated as Wigan and they are all so uninterested in SAFC. Living in the shadow of the big city club over the Tyne Mutty may be your excuse.
I see the Roly Poly went down in a whimper tonight.Don’t think that any of the Brisbane lads had their heads smashed in by a thugs fist tonight but who knows. Just wondering if Latics got much cash for this one off since we apparently own the ground. Well that’s what DW told us he was doing once over. Just thought the extra money could be spent on a new pitch.
Most of them. Solidarity with the Pool fans with the shit they have been put through. At least they have a good excuse and reasons for being shit and demonstrate against it. At Latics we just scratch our heads at the total inexcusable cock ups from top to bottom and bar a couple of boos do nothing!!
Over 11000 home supporters on New Springfield last night which with what has been on offer this season is a pretty remarkable turn out.
In fact it is more home fans than what the Chubsters could attract last week in the opening match of the season.
Probably will be more than could be arsed buying tickets for tonight’s friendly knowing the notorious reputation of Wigan fans not forking out the dosh for cup games never mind friendlies.Officially it was the black Bart Simpson on the wing. Why who knows? The young fella was totally out of his depth. I suppose the effort was there but playing in the Champioship on a marsh against long time professional defenders is just a step too far yet for the lad. Did he get one cross in to the strikers?
Playing on the pristine surfaces of Premier League set ups is a lot different than playing on a mire rivalling Bloomfield for standard. Our training pitches are in better condition than that bog. Would be interesting to see him play on a professional sports surface or alternatively swap his boots for a pair of ankle wellies.Kim??? It is strange how we all see things differently. Many I spoke to thought he had a stinker.
This manager has been set up to fail and how much he is involved in this conspiracy who knows? If he is sacked he leaves with more money than most of us will ever see. When appointed did he know the extent of the clear out and go along with it. Does he actually have much say in players signed etc. The more you think of it this seasons relegation feels more and more like it has been orchestrated. By who and why, who knows?
I don’t have a season ticket but will be there on Tuesday for another masochistic treat.
Did he really do that? Daft bugger!
That’s right blue. There will be good crowd at our place on Saturday to watch the Lodgers but it will be crowd made up of Lodger fans probably around ten thousand of them like last Friday night. The rest will be made up of tourists and one off fans plus Rugby League fans in general. A mate of mine who plays Union and Cricket is going with a party of others from Lancaster and Morecambe just for the crack and a day out. Probably won’t be many more or possibly even less genuine Wigan egg fans there than genuine Latics fans there on Friday night.
Mutty you mak em and tak em but you still play in the shadow of NUFC in that football graveyard of the North East. Is it not finally time you scrapped the Stadium of Shite and groundshare at St James Park.
Thought you meant that keeper lungeing at Shrek with his feet.
Nice one. Same side, same formation Friday please. Come on Latics.
