My highlight was the Bombay potato pie, nice half time treat. Really good save by their keeper at the end, other than that zzzzzzz, low quality low action but not the end of the world, Hull and Charlton continue to drop like stones

If I join the cue now
Was you playing a game of snooker whilst at the game Edward’s? Dont you mean queue?? :)
Haha thanks I’ve used totally different spellings in the same post!

While waiting in the half time queue you could read the Steve Davis book on his favourite snookers before getting served, or practice my spellings for school!

At what time did you start queuing for a half time pie?

If I join the cue now I reckon I might get served by half time against Blackburn!

Really disappointed with Luton, thought they would have come and give it a go. Probably worse we’ve played for 7-8 games, our final ball was awful from both flanks. Let’s put it down as a bad day at the office, probably best way to look at it.

I think Luton and Barnsley are doomed, its then one from about 8. :woohoo:

I thought Luton did try to go for, pressing high up the pitch, putting a lot of effort in and using some dark arts but they couldn’t really make much impression against our defence. Unfortunately we didn’t make much impression either until Garner came on.

Can we have a bonus prediction for the lateness of donny’s prediction?

I would like to pitch at 10.45 Saturday 7 March 2020

I hope this stupid idea wasn’t predictable

Pessimism and wisdom in hindsight are the way to go for me!

But hope you’re right jr however massively unlikely.

Fixtures against a team bottom of the table have always been a banana skin for us so I’ll be approaching this game with my customary pessimism, although Luton are not a conventional bottom side with their own good run.

I don’t think Cook would have survived at many other clubs and was aware of the possibility of the sack eary in the season when our poor run started. As every pundit, manager and football “expert” says, football is a results based business, and, the buck stops with the manager, so really Paul Cook has more than ridden his luck.

Football thought is littered with managers who have gotten lucky on the way to success, so maybe Cook can be the same at Championship level?

Thats the price of one player for some clubs, eye watering figures.

And they’ll still get relegated and then stuffed by our upcoming youngsters next season!

                          If we don’t go up

                                Match report for tonights match.

                                Reading.

The 93rd minute came and went. Wigan, through a Jacobs bit of jinking and twisting slips in a last kick of the game goal. Reading, whose reading, 0 Wigan 1. Will grigg is still on fire but no one knows about it.

I am presenting this, along with other seen evidence of a pre written match report of a Morsy 1-0 win at WBA

The iconic goalsgalore is from the future and travels back time to support Latics, because we’re that bloody good

                                The game is up gg!

‘Iconic’? I don’t even know what that means, but I see this from ‘wiki’ …Audrey Hepburn was widely admired for her iconic style, her great fashion taste.

And as for my ‘guess the gate’ record …. I am emulating Wigan; we never like to peak too soon, like Wigan, with 4 games to go I’ll be within reach of the play-offs. 16 points and 10 games – it’s do-able.
PS you don’t look anything like Audrey Hepburn
