18 months! The only person laughig over this is him cos in 7 months when he gets out hes a free agent able to sign for any team with a massive signing on fee and wages.

Im pretty sure he must have it written into the contract that he aderes to a code of conduct or that he behaves in a respectable manner!
Im sure we can get a transfer fee for him. Only problem is because hes coming to the end of his deal it would be minimual. In fact wed probably only get whatever signing on fee he could agree with another club unless Daves kept records of the amount he was worth before this happened and how much Hull would of paid!
I thought the Mutu case established a precedent in that for breach of contract we would be able to sue him for a lost transfer fee.
However more disturbing is the fact that a scumbag like king who is nothing more than a average footballer can become a millionaire!
If thats the case im very surprised it hasnt been spoke about or brought up in the press with teams looking at him!
He signed in January 2006 for 3 and a half years then signed a 2 year extension last year so it summer 2011 his contract ends. It wouldnt surprise me if we arent talking extensions now to his contract.

I cant help but think that its no coincidence that since clubs brought these acadameys and the like in that talents dried up. Kids get fed up and bored and stop putting their all in, then the ones that do and get to a decent age then dont make the grade are lost to the game.
As for these parents a lot of them would be better looking at the likes of us, Bolton, Burnley etc and getting the kid playing and doing well then if they are good enough they will be picked up by a bigger side.
I thought there were rules in place now to stop teams signing up talent from all over. Personally i think they should bring kids in at 11 the same time as secondary school and they should be within 12.5miles of the club. Not only would that be benificial for smaller clubs and the kids but if their was a star kid that the parents wanted to play for a certain team the parents would move making the club sure that the parents would back the kid!
The rumours though are that if the club cant buy christopher park from the council theyll be looking to the outskirts of the borough to set a new training facility including a centre of excellence for younger kids.
