What the fuck has the completely out of context stupid and exorbitant transfer fees got to do with my window cleaning round ? I personally think that McCarthy is overrated and certainly not worth £15m ! He is a decent player and is of Prem standard but is not worth £15m. The club aint bothered about what I think ! I begged with Roberto not to shell out £6m for Boselli but he just ignored me and went ahead with it regardless and we all know what happened there ! In another thread I mentioned that if any club was foolish enough to part with £15m then more fool them and happy days for us ! If we get more than the amount that I said then great news, I just think that he is only worth 7-8 million at this present juncture !

He’s got a bit of a sore throat this morning. He’s a little hoarse.He is ok now, he has had a couple of spoonfuls of Buttercup Stirrup ! ;)
All I know is that the feelgood factor is back amongst the fans and league confidence is high albeit only one game in ! There doesn’t appear to be any rifts so far and the fans are not split down the middle arguing about the manager’s shortfalls ! All this could change sooner than later due to the fickle nature of the football fan but as we stand I am basking in euphoria ! The relegation and change of manager seems to have been just what the doctor ordered for our little club !
Why did you see the Villa game as being bitter sweet ? (We were already down so I presume that was the bitter ! ) So what was the sweet ? Surely not the non eventful boring draw that meant fuck all to either team ! Living in Leyland myself I would really like to pick your brains some time because you seem to be quite positive to the point of bias ! Almost like a Nob End fan that thinks they are sleeping giants ! Do you go out drinking round Leyland ? I have come across maybe one person that supported Wigan in Leyland and I am pretty sure it wasnt you because he agreed with me that Martinez would fuck us over if we went down ! You however always thought he would do the honourable thing ! He did….
Yes relegation was the bitter…although being relegated on the last day would have been worse! The sweet was watching the cup being paraded around…
