The record attendance was against Liverpool in our rookie year if my memory serves me right !
3.45 if we are more than 2 goals down at half time !
any concerns that may have been reported to us pre Newcastle re his ankle may well have been RM’s ploy to keep the lad from getting too nervous
Surely that only works for things he doesn’t know, like whether he’s playing? I would have thought he knows whether he has an injury or not, and so wouldn’t be reassured by publicity that he had an ankle injury
Ask any lad his age if he is fit to play in a full home debut despite concerns over an ankle injury and if it is only a slight concern ( Not totally incapacitated ) he will be well up for it ! When I was his age I never even mentioned certain injuries because I wanted to play ! So he may well have said he felt fine but they may have told him that they are not totally convinced and may have told him they might not risk him ! The lad obviously needs handling with kid gloves !
Your words, There was nothing wrong with him, when he went off against Newcastle, also Yes he does have ankle trouble, but he seemed perfectly fit the last time I saw him. If he has ankle trouble, how can he be perfectly fit ?, I,m glad your not my Doctor, Why dont you take positives once in a while if we beat Norwich tomoro, we will have 30points, which equates to a point a game, which normally will keep us up.We are also in the semis of the FA, Cup, with a tie against Football League opposition, so everything is not all doom and gloom or is it in your eyes.I am hopeful for tomorrow and happen to think we may just pull it off again. I have been buoyed by recent performances and you will find that my posts have been upbeat and not as you say all doom and gloom ! The Callum business is not good for a kid like him and if he is left out it will be down to the manager and I would agree with him. He definitely appeared to be of sound fitness prior to him going off against Newcastle and any concerns that may have been reported to us pre Newcastle re his ankle may well have been RM’s ploy to keep the lad from getting too nervous as he has stated already ! Either way, my confidence is higher than it was several games back ! :)
McManaman, in the Everton game, went off with an ankle injury, shortly after scoring, the following game against Newcastle, he was doubtful upto the morning of the game, he then got subbed with a recurrence of the ankle injury, once again do you not watch games, according to you he ran off the pitch, with nothing wrong with him, your words not mine.Read my comments ! I did NOT say he ran off the pitch ! He was however running around like a whirling dervish moments before he was beckoned off ! The young lad was being booed and there was some serious vitriol being aimed at him and so in my opinion ( Allowed ) he was subbed. The club have now said he is injured again and I personally think this statement is to protect him and I actually agree with it should it be the case. Now if you think that is being a negative so and so then you are missing the point completely ! Perhaps you are the Goddess of Wisdom tooth brushes and not the one I initially thought you were ! :)
Jesus Man, I,ve refrained off this site for nigh on two yr, apart from a brief forage lately, but some things never change namely you, how negative are you, why seriously do you portray our club, Wigan Ath, as the team you follow, you always seem to find fault somewhere inside or outside of the club, do you not think it would be better, if you started to follow another club, your getting boring man, really boringWTF are you talking about ? Why is this thread finding fault ? The same would apply to any club with this situation. Have you even bothered to read the replies ? I suggest you go back to your lurking unless you have something constructive to add ! Some people eh !!
Yes, he does have ankle trouble but he seemed perfectly fit to me the last time I saw him ! We shall see.
I know you have a reputation for leaving games early but I hope you are aware he has come off injured in the last 2 games
There was nothing wrong with him when he went off the pitch against Newcastle ! Moments prior to him going off he was running around like a mad un !
I also don’t buy into this ref conspiracy lark either, but I am pretty sure that the FA will want to appease certain quarters !
Hi mate, I don’t have them pal, just doing a favour for a mate who no longer posts on here. Have a look, then buy if you like.No problem.
He has had loads made in the past, they were metal and decent quality. ;)Cheers John, see ya Sat ! ;)
Oh no, does that mean you will be coming inside? ;)
Initially for my drinks yes. I shall sample the badge pin, perhaps come out with some tongue in cheek comment aimed at your corner and then I will be gone into the smoke stenched ether ! B)
I wouldn’t play him for a while because the FA will want to right a wrong somehow and we don’t need the refs turning against us now !
I am gonna estimate an attendance of between 40,000 and 46,000 for the semi !

The country is a joke and of no threat whatsoever, in fact I reckon the ES2 lot could take them fuckers !
England are only 2 pts behind and have 3 home games out of the remaining 4 inc Montenegro. They will get to Brazil and then make complete tits of themselves like they usually do ! With a bit of luck Germany will get to spank their arses ….Again !!
Are they proper metal pin badges or just badges ? If they are the former save me one for Saturday John !
“Anybody going to Wembley from the other side?”
Yes, my Gran said she might be going, she has been dead for several years !
