Not a chance I’m having my match day experience ruined by some of the herberts on here.
You knock yourself out, though. ;)
You should have said pre match day experience because once you set foot inside the DW things will more than likely start to go tits up ! :)
Typo very early on ! Sloppy, go to the bottom of the class !
Meanwhile back on the rhymes
I’ll still go in harder times
Contrary to popular belief
I’ll still be here in times of griefRelatively new at 10 years
I admire my Latics peers
Their belief is second to none
They’ll still be here when most have goneMy 11th season will be with them
In the Championship or the Prem
All for one and one for all
We are Wigan and we stand tall !Thought Pollitt was crocked?
From what I’ve heard, I think those that went to Bournemouth will be the ones that saw Pollitt’s last competitive game.
I really hope he gets offered the a coaching role as he will have a lot to offer there and his presence for morale will be invaluable.
That is a real shame if it is the case but it would also tie in with the Robles loan deal who I imagine will start vs Macclesfield.
Thanks Pollitt you have been a great player for us on and off the pitch!
All the best Mark Pollitt. Top servant.
MARK? Is that his brother? Top servant? Does he wait on at Whelan’s gaff?
That lad has drank that many cans of lager his head is like a flock of seagulls !
I like bants guys but if you take the piss out of Flock of Seagulls again there will be banging outs.
That threat frightened me so much that I ran ( So far away ) ! :)
I would say clemt, meaning very hungry.Clemt is colloquial to Wiganers maybe but it is not in the English dictionary ! Griff was indeed correct with his tedious way of answering ! ;)
I have never understood why players never say thanks or at least acknowledge ball boys/girls. It doesn’t matter who you are, manners should go hand in hand with any sport in my opinion ! If I was a professional footballer I would think nothing of saying cheers or thanks ! Ignorant fcukin joy boys !
We will have to meet up again for a quick scoop so you can explain where the jamesc comes from ;)
And he can explain why he didn’t turn up to buy a copy of my book from the Brick like he promised
Loads of us looking out for him: big fat lad with black hair.
The thing is these two had their tryst last Saturday, away from prying eyes it would seem ! ;)
Dont worry treacle tits we will have our day
Maybe they went to Fulham together, a couple of weeks ago?
You know, tried a bit of ‘Cottaging’…..
They have been craven each other ever since !
Arsenal did not treat them with respect and only started to play when it was too late. Villa by all accounts were pathetic and so Bradford fully deserved to beat them both. We outplayed them and missed a bucketful of chances and by rights should have progressed to the next round, who we would have played or how we would have played ? We will never know ! If Macclesfield beat us it will be Canvey Island revisited and there will be mocking a plenty from all and sundry !
The Brick, I believe :)
I heard its full of nobs in there…
That’s why I stay outside ! :cheer:
Being a window cleaner I am inclined to agree with you !

As a change from the usual bickering and bad vibes, where are you going to for your holidays? We like to try somewhere different each year and so this year finds us opting for Antalya Turkey.I will also be jetting out to Austin Texas for a week with my brother and some mates for a week of psychedelic music and high jinx !
Any thoughts or tips on Antalya would be gratefully received ! B)Went to Antalya a couple of years ago, stayed at Delphin Palace Resort in Lara Beach. Class hotel. 5 Star All inclusive….was very impressed. They came round all day with kebabs, etc. The choice of food was amazing.
Where are you staying? If it’s along Lara Beach the hotels along there are all supposed to be impressive. We had a spa and health club in our hotel and the Turkish bath and pampering I had….massages, etc, was well worth the £30 I paid. It also healed a sore muscle I had in my back that had been sore for months!
Not a lot to do outside the hotel, a few local shops selling designer fakes and fake football shirts….decent quality, actually, a lot of them. But our hotel was so superb with a fairground and superb waterslides, didn’t really need to go far. Plenty of cabins with drapes keeping them cool…..I took myself off after a few too many drinks and kebabs and went for a siesta…..super-duper.
And there IS a beach! Hotels along Lara Beach (kind of gives it away) are all ON the beach.
We never usually venture too far from our hotel wherever we stay as we just chill for 7 days ! We always have a walk after our evening meal to see what there is nearby shop-wise and then it’s back to the hotel for all-inc drinks a plenty ! B)
“Not just some people, all of us !”
Addictive aint it !

Who was that idiot in the west Stand stood up with arms aloft clapping the team off at half time ? Perhaps he was being sarcastic !
I thought exactly the same thing when I saw an idiot in the east stand stood up waving his arms about and slagging our players off. Jason Scotland et al must have hung on your every word for advice. They run around like headless chickens when you leave early!!
Perhaps it was a real fan trying to lift the team.
PS You were the reason I changed seats.
I think you must be confusing me with someone else old man ! Shouting abuse at players is something that I DO NOT do. As for leaving early, if I decide I want to leave early I will do so, what business is it of yours ?
