One of the fixtures pre season that we would have had down as a win and as things are now panning out needs to be but I feel it will be a draw !

Attention Need

Lose 2 on the bounce and you are out ! Abramovich got his dream last season and so it’s not as if this sacking reeks of desperation ! There will have been a contingency plan put in place and I feel we wont have to wait too long to find out who is next for the hot seat ! On their probable exit from Champions league, I think that their group is a tough one which includes a side that for me will win this years competition !
We did finish 10th in first season and he started talking about Europe ! I appreciate that he has financed new training facilities and that the whole dynamic of the club is better than it ever was but I also know that we have come as far as we can and I think the majority of fans know that too. When the press come a calling he could always just say ” Hey guys lets not get ahead of ourselves here, we are a little club and things are ticking along at our pace here. We are still growing from within and the club as a whole is fairly solvent and for that we must be thankful.I feel that further investment could perhaps take us to another level but for now we are more than happy to survive each season “
What you are forgetting is that to reach his dream of the Prem and the new stadium he actually had to invest some of his money. I for one wouldn’t blame him for wanting to invest any more of his money and as I have mentioned on other threads I honestly think we have come as far as we can now. He needs to realise that is all I am trying to say and if he wants to take it to the next level that he talks of then I’m afraid he WILL have to dig deep yet again into those Farahs !

Yes you can comment on it, as can I. If he was talking to you in the Brick then yes, if he was going on about top half, you’d be well within your rights to laugh at him and call him delusional.But he’s not. He’s speaking to the national press, and if he’s wanting to attract fans, players and investors, he’s hardly likely to make the club sound ambitionless, broke and a certainty to finish in obscurity somewhere just above the relegation places.[/quote]
Do you honestly believe that fans, players and investors alike will take notice of his little pipe dreams ? He has been repeating the same mantra for the last 8 years and I don’t see a rush from any of the above do you ! If he wants his dreams to come to fruition then he must put his money where his mouth is or simply keep quiet ! What makes me laugh is that I like you fully expect the bottom 5 finish yet the drummer hating Roses fan seems to think it’s just me who is the realist ![/quote]
Oh how we laughed when he took over the club and came out with that statement that he would have our lovely little club in the premiership within ten years and also have a new spanking 25000 stadium

Did nobody notice how many times Stam from the right cut inside and put in several great crosses with his left foot last time he played ? He gets up and down the byline and for me at this present juncture is the one for the role of left wing back.
