He bends like a twig caught in the wind
And what problem would that bring ? That would mean he was supple would it not ! Unlike a certain person I know who doesn’t suit a baseball cap !
If Bob studied the way that Nugent gets goals and changed his tactics to bring this to fruition then Nugent would be a viable cheap option. I know what he does but I cant go into it in detail on here but if Bob was to also see it then bingo we will get goals ! Cheap as chips DW !
nugent is on loan at the dingles!Yeah I know that but its only till Jan I think !
One thing I’ll give him is that he doesn’t give up. He might, or might not, go on a scoring spree, but I’d be surprised if a striker wasn’t on the top of our January shopping list. Rods is too lightweight for that lone striker role, so we need bodies. We also desperately need a leader on the pitch, as we don’t have someone who can give the players the kick up the bum they often need.Old Wolf did you see my Hugo video montage of him banging in goals from a central striker role ! Both club and country he has been prolific thats why we got him in but moving him onto the wing is nothing short of bad tactics in my book especially now I have seen the video montage !
Nob Ends keeper Andy Lonegran being tipped for Prem so why not make a move for him he is from Preston ( Longridge ) so ideal for him and he aint bad according to my mates !
Maybe not to us but to the Prem in general !
Come on son its way past up them jolly dancers theres a good lad !
Its a statistic and might I add that Swansea are in a lower standard of league so the statistic doesn’t read too well does it !!
38 goals would suggest to me that the defence has a pretty bad standard ! So maybe he thought it was a good goal compared to our usual inept standards !
even though he hasnt scored wher is 21 games when we have played 17 and he has been sub in a few ?
Swansea included !

I’m sure he come off bench at Villa or did Swansea start three weeks before our first match
He has not scored in 21 games he has played in that includes his last few games for Swansea !!even though he hasnt scored wher is 21 games when we have played 17 and he has been sub in a few ?Swansea included !
Yes 21 ! Friendlies not included before you say it !
Scotland breezes to his 21st match without a goal and still no sign of him being dropped !
Or who can remember this little nugget !!
As for his decision to put Lindsay on the board, well some of you must have very short memories or maybe selective memories !
Or have only been fans since 2005
Whats that got to do with anything ?? I still remember this happening…..
Curiously for an English football club, Wigan Athletic’s chief rivalry is not with another football club, but with the local rugby league club, Wigan Warriors. It is a long-standing rivalry and in fact predates the club’s formation, as previous football teams within the town are said to have struggled to attract support due to the success of the local rugby league club.
Relative fortunes have also fostered resentment. In the 1989-1990 season, Wigan Athletic, deep in financial trouble, were given a lifeline as they were drawn against Liverpool in a two-legged tie in the second round of the Football League Cup. When approached, the Wigan RL board refused to allow the football club use of their Central Park ground, due to a rugby fixture on the same date, which would have given the home side a greater share of the gate revenue (due to the fact Central Park had a larger capacity of around 32,000) forcing both ties to be played at Anfield. The need to move the game came as Springfield Park had recently had its capacity cut from 20,000 to 10,800 in 1985 by Wigan Council due to safety concerns.
Was that not down to a certain Mr Lindsay ??
