C’mon lads, time for bed now. Early start tomorrow and, hopefully the greatest of days. :cheer:
Good 3 points today, Fat Lady told to go back to her dressing room. :)
Yep…need snookers now.
It was my first game too. Mates dad took us, picked up the coach behind old market hall. Only real memory was sitting on wooden benches at the end Colin Bell scored. I think City wore their AC Milan kit! Just remember feeling dead proud of Latics…just like on Saturday!!!!
From what I remember there were thousands of wiganers there! We had nearly if not all of the Bullens Rd side (the bottom tier was terracing then) I also remember it was so packed I could hardly see the pitch!
De Ormskirk massive is on Coach 20 :P
Agreed, that was the problem with what happened on Saturday..We had the opportunity to push on and put a bit of daylight between us and the other 4 basement teams and we f****d it up…I’ve always been optimistic that things would come right and actually believed that there was a decent team in there waiting to come out, but that abysmal performance ‘broke my spirit’ as well.
I don’t boo anyone as that is not going to make anyone try any harder, I will keep supporting anyone who wears the shirt and puts a shift in but I think our time has run out. Even if we did stay up, our better players will go, DW will not put anymore of his money in now as he is looking to offload so we will be in the same relegation battle every year until we go down.
Greetings Town Green, thats at least 2 Latics fans from the posh end of Ormskirk !
Don’t put a Drummer in the West Stand, we will all complain about the noise!!
