1/01/19, Blimey …… inspirational eh? It’s subtle; do you get the significance?
There is a carefully worked out formula for every one of my predictions, and I’d be correct most of the time if people didn’t change their mind at the last minute and go to the game.
Oi!! 3 so far – you missed mine!
10119 – clearly too subtle!!

Fantastic autocorrect that, apologies to Lostock! Then I realise it was goalsgalore that wrote it! Not even had a pint yet!hahaha!! That’s what I like about this forum ….. it’s fun! What happens when you’ve had a pint ….. I’m waiting with baited breath!
The balti pie is the clear winner,
Lipstick, u need to go to Forrest green rovers, they do Quorn pieshaha, lol, Priscilla, I’ll be on my way; can’t beat a bit of quorn and rabbit food. Where does ‘lipstick’ come from? It’s just gonna get confusing with yet another username!
Garner and Windass have definitely been disappointments. Was expecting big things from Windass at least.
Hopefully Grigg, Massey and Jacobs get some game time in the next few weeks because once we have those 3 back we will be a far better side going forward.
……. and with Callum Mac feeding them.
Well Mac, Grigg and Massey were all available last Saturday but were benched so the Manager sees things differently Goals Galore.
That’s a surprise …. I thought Cookie and I were on a similar wavelength, but I have to say he did ignore the letter I wrote to him last week!!

Were awesome yesterday !
Best that I’ve had.
Think someone else commented on this. Some days it’s football and some days it’s pies that win !
Are there any vegetarian balti pies? I also need a positive for those few and infrequent poor days.
Hec Horc …. get it right mate, this is clearly a very serious table to on; more important than the Championship one Wigan are on at present. Don’t blame you for keeping your identity secret!!!!!!!
In true Wigan style I’ve started slithering down the table.
Athletics commentator Coleman at the Montreal Olympics about the amazing Cuban 400m runner Alberto Juantarino nick named ‘the horse’.
“Wait until the back straight When The big Cuban opens his legs and showed his class to the world”
GG, i for one would rather settle for mid-table mediocricity this season.RF – looks like Radio Frequency – but anyway, you know .. to be honest … so would I, justa bit of cynicsm creeping in.
One of the many things I’ve enjoyed a lot of since I’ve been following Wigan is the excitement it provides ………. whether it be the last 15 minutes of almost every game, winning a cup and the journey there, winning leagues or avoiding the drop.
Who wants the tedium of mid table mediocrity and the relaxation of watching another meaningless game!??
PC’s assessment:
“Everyone will have their own opinion on the game but I didn’t think we were ever in danger of losing the game, that’s for sure.
“We’ve got a pattern of away results now that are very disappointing, but it’s a tough league.
“It was two honest teams having a good go at each other in a really poor day for football – so the game was never going to be a good game.”
Never in danger????
Oh believe me, i am one who will indeed keep the faith. And, nor am i saying that we have the right to win. But you have to admit, it is a tad frustrating. What? ONly a ‘tad’!?? I’d give it a tad x 2. Today, I more than anyone else in the world wanted a win. It just makes me feel better.
If he goes …… who is in the wings to replace him?
Lost to Ipswich but had good wins against Stoke and West Brom and the first day of the season, a day to savour!
We’d be winning if Callum Macmamamamum started.
Yup we lost; I wasn’t there but we had a lot of good attacks, hit the cross bar twice, got cold and should have 3 in 5 minutes against Derby.
