All very true!! There are some very deserving people who get honours, and some equally un- deserving ones!! For some it is little more than an “in house pat on the back for their mates” (Clegg).

Mind you, he has been a donor of considerable amounts to the Tory party for quite a while – so his chances are increased.

As you say, and I agree, in my Wigan-esque blue tinted eyes Sir DW (Lord) can do no wrong. So let’s give him a knighthood, make him a Lord (he already is one) OBE, MBE and a Dame for ‘services to WAFC and the people who have got a stacka fun from following the team’.

That alone is more deserving that quite a few others.

If Clegg can get one then you, Whelan and a few others are certainly deserving.

After yesterday’s master class where Nathan Byrne looked like Messi, I worry for 3 reasons.
1. I just worry.
2. We’ll be a tad complaceant
3. Teams will come and play very very defensively – with 2 attackers for the quick break, 1 mid-fielder and 7 in the bus in the box.
At least Cookie has told them to start shooting from outside the box rather than trying to dribble it into the goal. Well done Max!

The first half was a bore; it was cold; Wimbledon don’t play in Wimbledon; I didn’t go and should have done; eventually Jacobs scored a scrappy goal; the fella in front of me was too big so I couldn’t see; Powell managed a full game without being injured or getting tired; Grigg didn’t score; Perkins wasn’t there; it didn’t rain; the ref nearly scored for them – see the evidence is there that they all hate us.

See – there is plenty to moan about – FFS Cookie – get it sorted.

I suppose, I’ll concede – we did win, only by 4 goals but we should reluctantly admit that Powell’s and Power’s goals were both a total fluke. Even more reluctantly we’ll admit they were bloody good. Do it again next week and I’ll begin to have some belief. NOT ‘faith’ because the definition of faith is ‘belief without evidence’ and I need the evidence, hopefully I’ll get that on 7 May, but I wont hold my breath.

1 positive is that at last 1 of strikers scored, albeit in the 94th minute and not as usual where it is either the defenders and midfielders.

From Wimbledon’s perspective I’m thinking this will be a LONG game, as there goal just gets FULLER and fuller. It does MEADE they will have to be more than just TROTTERs, and several of their shots will just SOARE into orbit, with a LYLE bitta luck they may get a shot on target. We’ll hear their manager BARCHam at ’em. This game is TAYLOR made for us to win. However, I do know that they’ll fill their box like before a FORRESTER got to work, but I’ll be EGLI-ing the tics on. We’ve got the POWER, WILL will BURN, before DUNK-LEY balle en la goal. I don’t think there WILL be a REECE against time at 90 minutes today.
