Let’s be honest we r not staying up nor do we deserve to stay up with our home record and the inability to score goals
Fair comment. Doesn’t mean we have to go down, though
Don’t talk bollocks, that was a minor, technical/administrative error as I recall, not remotely comparable to what QPR have done in terms of FFP.
Why is it bollocks? We should have had a points deduction! I wouldn’t say that a £40,000 is a minor!!
Because the FA agreed that it was a genuine mistake and no attempt had been made to deliberately break the rules. But, because ignorance is no defence, they fined us.
Quite why I am bothering to explain myself to you, I don’t know.
One for the conspiracy theorists
WHY is Malky not playing Waghorn ? …
WHY is he persisting with Perch in Midfield for Kvist ?
WHY is he persisting with Fortune ?
Why is he not playing Perch instead of Boyce at RB
Why has be brought in an influx of young raw loan players with no experience ?
Why are the players not looking like they are even arsed if we go down ?
Why has he not tried new formations and tactics to deal with the goal scoring issue ?Controversial, but what if the direction from the top is to not actually try to avoid relegation .. Where were Whelan’s famous dressing room talks this season when he was chairman, where is his normal column inches he used to fill in the WEP about getting behind the town etc. ?? Perhaps If we get relegated, its an ideal position to balance the books again, the start of the new academy, different strategy altogether ?
I know this sounds stupid saying that the club doesn’t seem to bothered about us being relegated, but can you see anyone busting a gut to get us out of the mess, both on or off the field ? We have been subdued ALL season, something is a miss.
The books are already balanced.
I know this sounds stupid
Well, quite
Maybe folk go away games to escape the rantings of pillocks like you
There’s only me not a pillock on here. Only me who wanted the prick out after 5 games. Look where we are now and the tripe you’ve ended up with.
Now if you don’t mind gay boy………
You are one deluded, arrogant knob, aren’t you?
You’ll get put away talkin to thi’sel ladOn another note only £130 to have a meal with Uncle Dave and hear his inane ramblings, going over the last 20 years.
In fairness would have been a good night for the average supporter, instead it will be attended by businessmen and those full of money. Most of whom wont haven’t been to a fraction of games in 20 years compared to the loyal working class fans, who spent their hard earned on their team.Dave’s not in it for the money though.
I suspect they priced it like that for two reasons:-
1) Supply and demand – they have already sold out 17 of the 30 tables and that is BEFORE they have tapped the sponsors/corporates
2) It deters absolute knobheads from turning up
It has certainly deterred me. Read into that what you will! ;)

Don’t we just love negativity  .
Most saw the “email us on……” and didn’t interpret that as “post a reply”…
Details will be put on the various sites when its ready.
Thanks for your concerns.
Bit touchy aint we! I asked how much?
Not many pictures in it Phil, so it might be a bit taxing for the likes of you
I like Cockney Latic Boards and always have but of late like the support at New Springfield the numbers on here are dropping.
…………..but most are just know-nowt knobhead commentsAnd there Mr donnys page is your answer. How can anyone compete with that observation?
He didn’t ask a question.
Anyway, thankfully, that’s my weekly 10-minute CL visit over and done with for another week. Even those with a modicum of intelligence seem to have contracted knobheaditis
Conspiracy theory ha ha. No not really. I like Cockney Latic Boards and always have but of late like the support at New Springfield the numbers on here are dropping. So just say like many things that are put on the board they are just wind up comments which sometimes prompt reaction but on many occasions don’t.
How about winning every game of the season till the end and giving us hope of pushing for the play offs next season. Some are wind-ups, but most are just know-nowt knobhead comments
Even when away from home and you meet someone who sees your latics shirt its ‘Thought everyone watched rugby in Wigan’. Then you get the chubster fans locally who are so blinkered in their view on Latics and also their own imaginary huge support. Also folk you work with who think we play in front of 1100 while the lodgers pack out the stadium every week. You meet and work with some pretty daft people then. I have traveled around quite a bit and, especially since 2005, I have hardly ever heard that view at all. Thick people in and around Wigan might express that view but, to be fair, their opinion doesn’t really count.
It will be the thai war chest next season why do u think the other directors are moving asideEr, because they were only there in the first place because they were Whelan’s mates.
“Cockney Latic – Home of the world’s shittest conspiracy theorists”
This season was thrown away last July. From there we could see where we were going. Seemed like an orchestrated relegation all the time. Maybe Dave knew he was leaving so better the relegation on Davids shoulders and of course next seasons glory when he leads the club to a promotion. Well that all depends if Grandad leaves a warchest. What’s the weather like on your planet today?
Never ceases to amaze me how Latics fans have the nerve to have a pop at ANYBODY else’s crowds
Malky’s train will derail for real just you see! Nudge nudge wink wink! Dead man walking! ;)
Go on Phil. Tell us what you know.
That won’t take long
Gone to ground? Hardly!
I had some some very heated, good-natured debates at the weekend with some proper, intelligent, been-around-and-seen-a-lot-over-the-years Latics fans.
Don’t kid yourself that this forum is anything like representative of what passes for sensible debate on Latics’ fortunes (no pun intended). It’s a school playground at best, and not a very good school at that.
