I think once he gets his first goal and gets that monkey off his back, we will then see a better player, come on lets have a reality check here, he’s moved from the championship to the premier league, to a club that does not have a proven striker at this level, who would not find that hard?I think the lad as heart, once the first goal goes in then we’ll see!
We all know he’s not good enough, but he is the only other recognised striker in the squad. So, until we get someone better in January (hopefully) he is what we’ve got.

Just read all the posts regarding Scharner and I agree that 3M for a player out of contract in the Summer is good money. But why are we going back to Swansea for another player? has Bob not bought enough whale from there?Just because it says something in the Daily Star, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. Me, I ignore all the rumours until I see the player being paraded with his new shirt. Then, and only then, is the time to criticise.
As for Scharner, if he is showing any kinds of itchy feet then £3m is a great price.
