Whereas you would fully expect him to say: “Aye, Brucey left us with a great squad but this daft dago would rather those mongs he brought with him from Wales. No wonder we got scutched. I’m expecting more of the same, to be honest”
All you need is to find a big field somewhere and have a MHM v CL straightener.I guess you’re being a bit tongue-in-cheek, but why is there any need for any such rumpus? T’internet’s a very big place – plenty of room for everyone.
Apart from some of the real bone-heads and multis that bore the life out of us on here. ;)
I’m still trying to decide whether to let him back on at all, what does everyone think?…. I’ll let you lot decide!Don’t see why he should be banned just because he’s annoying and spouts rubbish that no-one agrees with. It’s actually quite entertaining trying to predict what rubbish he’s going to come out with next!
There have been more annoying posters, the likes of Hit4sixty-nine or whatever.
All are welcome on Mudhuts, but not all will stay. Some will leave of their own accord, some will be run off the board. There are no apologies for that. If you’re good enough, you’ll be accepted readily.Although I know what you mean, Migs, and agree that it is this policy that makes Mudhuts a generally more high brow site than CL, you have to concede that the quote above can leave you open to allegations of elitism.
Anyone have any more accurate/up to date information on the kickoff date and time for this game please?
I know it wasn’t aimed at me, but I am sufficiently arrogant to answer for other people.
Seriously though, that’s a long post for someone who doesn’t give one.
Glad to see a line has been drawn under it. I bet it hasn’t though. Martin will be bladdered on his red wine before this ends, I think.
:| 80% of Roberts and Ellingtons goals were assited by Filan.Never mind anyway, we are never going to agree.
Obviously he is going to play two up front with nzogbia on the left and sinclair on the right. Or is that too easy?
You should wrap your business up and offer your services to Whelan as manager; I’m sure you’ll be a cheap and therefore attractive proposition for him. :)
Easy and painless thing for them to do, but a decent gesture all the same.
I (im)patiently await a plethora of tight-wad Wiganers demanding their money back from the Wolves game at home now
I went to Portsmouth and that was cr*p too – where do I queue?? ;) [/quote]
LaticsWN1, form an orderly one.
Oh, wait a minute – it’s shut! :D
Oh, nice to see where your loyalties lie.Go on, lick them a bit more…..you enjoy it.
My loyalties lie with my missus, son and family, close, long-standing personal friends.
Message boards and anything/one else don’t even come close to being important.
You need to chill :)
They are not too busy to ring me up at work asking if i want to advertise around the ground. When i asked him if he saw the game yesterday he said no as he was a rugby fan. I nearly ripped him down the phone. :evil:One of the players rang you about advertising? I think you are missing the point about why it’s (probably) been postponed.
They (the club management) probably felt it would be inappropriate for players to turn up at a club-shop opening ceremony after yesterday’s performance. I don’t think that the shop staff themselves need feel sufficiently persecuted to refuse to open up this morning. They are not being blamed for yesterday’s defeat, though if we give it time someone will probably do so.

We have had 10 years of success playing like that, whats the problem? I bet you wasn’t complaining when we got 100 points in Division Two.You’re having a laugh, we didn’t play hoof-ball under Jewell, certainly not in the early days. Last seasion was dire and I said very early on this season that I would rather go down playing the way Martinex wants to play than watching more of that crap from last year.
In my opinion the players, not the manager, are the problem. There seems to be too many who don’t seem to want to play for him and whilst that is his problem to sort out, he is not the root cause of it.
That said, he surely has to give others a chance after Sunday.
*Adjusts seat, pours glass of red*Watch this one, youngsters, it should run and run.
I’m amazed people have the time and the inclination to get involved in all this. I’m at home all day and I don’t have the time.
When are we going to see this attractive football? This has got to be the worst season we have had since we have been in the prem. Its been awful truely awful. Now I know you are a true Wiganer, happy to see the kind of long ball drivel served up last season. No wonder this is still a rugby town – even the football fans want the ball lumped in the air aimlessley and/or into touch.
I do feel a little sympathy with Gomez; the lad is being pummelled on this thread and hasn’t started a game for yonks.
Seems there’s a little bit of scape-goating going on here.
And whilst I am not Scotland’s biggest fan, it’s hardly fair to hold him responsible for 4-0 and 9-1 defeats.
