He was on loan TO Portsmouth wasn’t he. I remember a reporter interviewing him when there saying ‘I bet your glad you will still get paid on time (or something like that)’ and his reply was along the lines of ‘no, the deal means that Portsmouth pay me so I’m in the same boat as these lads;.

Surely they are, therefore, bad tactics as we are a football team and the purpose of football is to score goals and not concede them.How many goals have been created by the genius tactics of RM ? Very few. Would Steve Bruce’s tactics have created the same number of goals – I’m sure they would even though they were simpler and arguably more primitive.
The lad means well but he doesn’t learn and is treated as a bit of a jerk by most other managers I’m afraid. Pains me to say it. I’d love to see Holland 1974 being created over the summer but it won’t happen. We’ll sign players who can pass but aren’t wanted elsewhere because they aren’t good enough.
