Totally agree, What does concern me is that whelan just isnt willing to give martinez any money, or is whelan waiting to see if martinez can cope with this division answer at the moment is a big no, as for gomez totally out of his depth

If I bump into Stu today, I’ll ask what upset him, as usually when there is something that needs attention the first person he rings is me.
I’ve had no call and I won’t waste his or my phone’s battery by ringing him up to see if there is any mileage in what this guy is writing. I’ll just ask him the next time I see him, which is quite often.

Why do you get 5 points for a correct score, when you already get 3 points for a correct score home or away.It is for getting both home and away scores correct, its the points you receive for getting the exact result…. like I said in the shouts, its the same for everyone.

However, Speaking to some fans and reading comments on here i.e. fans afraid to go to home games with their young children etc. As unfounded as these fears are, I believe it is something the club should be looking at. The one pub on offer is an away fan haven? supporters club looks like a school dining hall, is this acceptable for a premiership team?I challenge you to find any Premier League Club that has a facility at all for their Official Supporters Club. You’ll be hard pressed to find an Official Supporters Club at them never mind a ‘school dining hall’ for them to have a drink in.
Maybe if another 1000 or so supporters of Wigan Athletic all went down and paid their fiver for the season and paid to use their coaches for away games, there might be a an option for them to do a bit better than what we have now???

Apart from Arsenal’s win over Everton, Wigan’s victory over Aston Villa was arguably the pick of the opening day’s results.
Roberto Martinez will want a win in his first game at the DW Stadium and I was impressed with the way they played and controlled the game against Villa.
The sooner Wolves come to terms with the fact that they have to take their chances at this level, the better they will be, but I can’t see beyond a Wigan win.
