Something isn’t right about the ticket prices…. Kazan fans only Paid 250 rubles i.e. £5 for their tickets, which where in exactly the same position on the ground as Latics fans, but at the other end of the stadium. To me it looks like exploitation from Maribor (and Kazan) knowing Latics fans are desperate for tickets. Let’s see exactly where in relation to the earlier tickets these extra tickets are. Just looked at photographs of the ground and at the away end the only barrier I can see is more or less straight down the centre of the stand.
I cant believe your making a fuss about these ticket prices, you either want to watch your team play in Europe or you don’t. The difference you are quoting is totally insignificant in the scheme of things. Go and watch your team and enjoy the occasion, if my mates paid 20 dabs less than me so what I will be there and that’s all that matters.

What a journey!Congratulations for taking on that role Jason. I’m sure you will do a good job even though you have a young family to keep you occupied and no financial reward for the time you will have to commit to this.
Well done! :cheer:

What a journey! Not sure about this view tho: “[Yeovil] will no doubt see this as a game they can win with our away form and performances after European games.”
Whilst our performances after Euro games have been flat, we are yet to lose (and have won twice) after our Thursday night jaunts (famous last words).
Even tho Yeovil are bottom, a 0-0 draw after 7 games in 23 days and a 5000 mile round trip would suit me fine.
We’ve only played once before in Europe! And that was in Belgium, only a little further than a trip to Southampton.
Coyle – taking all the fit and eligible players – set off for Kazan on Tuesday and flew back to Bristol straight after the game. They’ve travelled 5,000 miles and have been away from home for five nights. This will be the seventh game in twenty-two days.
It’s hardly ideal preparation. Even Premier League teams with big squads are notoriously vulnerable in away games after mid week trips to the continent. It worried Sir Alex Ferguson, and he was the master of rotation.
Marc Albrighton and Danny Redmond, both ineligible for the Europa League, join the squad. Beausejour will miss the game through injury, but there’s no further news of Watson.
I think we’ve played more than one game in Europe, you may have misread what was said. Have another butchers. B)

What a journey!Played in the Wigan Ammy league with one lad who was all out to hit the woodwork. He said it looked more spectacular than actually hitting the net.
I remember him scoring a scorcher from 25 yards out and as he walked back to the half way line he moaned, missed fekin cross bar by two inches.

What a journey! You don’t really want to discuss the candidates for the Champions League, do you?You just want to pour ridicule on Martinez and wind up a few people who respected his efforts when he was here.
It’s sad to see this site reduced to such a low level.
Chelsea, Man U, Man C and Arsenal, will that do you?
Oh and I hope Everton get relegated.

What a journey!Surely its Paul Gascoign, John McGinlay is Scottish.
PS I have a tattoo on my back of the entire Goole Town football squad from 1974.
no you’ve not
OK I was only joking it was the South Shields squad not Goole Town. Sorry for the little fib. :silly:

What a journey!Slipped down to a respectable seventh, and there for at least another two weeks. But that doesn’t get Everton Champions League football which Bobby has promised BK. Perhaps that goal will just keep being pushed to the right on the calender year on year.

What a journey!has Everton at the wrong end of the table ?With performances like today, very, very soon. Bobby has had his fair share of luck in the games I’ve seen and heard so far this season.
Spurs looked like Barcelona passing their way through the Everton’s midfield.
I think connections from both Mersey-side clubs are far too over optimistic of where they will finish in the EP league this season. Fair enough the clubs officials have to be optimistic, but I really do think that both sets of supporters are totally deluded, if they feel their teams are good enough for CL football.
My prediction;
Liverpool 8th, Everton 14th.

What a journey!Hull gave Spurs a nasty shock after half time on Wednesday. They played attractive and effective football too.1-1 after 90 minutes and 2-2 after extra time, they lost 8-7 when penalties went to sudden death.
What nasty shock, spurs dumped um out ert Capital One cup. Might as well have lost 10-0.
