If you have any sense you’ll do like we are doing and go on Friday night and check into some dive near the ground. It’s not hard just do it and come out refreshed for the early KO.

Please answer my question and show me were I predicted that Everton would finish in the bottom 4. That link you have spent ages reaping up doesn’t say jack shyte about finishing in the bottom 4. Once again you are making yourself look a numpty which is a pity as there may be a decent poster in that thick plank of a head of yours.

This thread is titled How long before “Bottom Four Bob” takes Everton to the wrong end of the table? Just read your post again.

You claimed that Everton had suffered a series of poor results. You then joined LostockHallLatic in counting down to the day that “Bottom Four Bob” would take Everton to the wrong end of the table.

Where did you think “Bottom Four Bob” was taking them if not the bottom four? Did you then expect their results under Martinez suddenly to improve and Everton to rise up the table? You didn’t say so.

Tick tock.
Jeesh you’ll not have it will yer, you’re like my chubster mates who still say they get bigger crowds than us.

I’ll say it for the last time and with a bit more vigor , I HAVE NEVER SAID THAT EVERTON WOULD FINISH IN THE BOTTOM 4, I DID NOT START THIS THREAD, MY FIRST POST WAS “I’M SAYING NOWT”, THEN I POSTED ABOUT THE GAME THEY HAD WITH CHELSEA AND THE FACT THAT CHELSEA SHOULD HAVE HAD SIX. CHECK ALL OF THE POSTS ON THIS THREAD AND YOU WILL SEE THAT I NEVER SAY EVERTON WOULD FINISH IN THE BOTTOM FOUR, I DID SAY HOWEVER, THAT I PREDICTED THAT EVERTON WOULD NOT FINISH IN THE TOP 6 AND I STILL STAND BY THAT [FANCY HAVING A BET WITH ME ON THAT?]
THE ONLY PERSON TO PREDICT THAT EVERTON WOULD GET A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPOT WAS A CERTAIN MR ROBERTO MARTINEZ DURING HIS FIRST INTERVIEW AS THE EVERTON BOSS, THE ONE WERE BILL KENWRIGHT WAS STAINING HIS PANTS AROUND THE ZIP AREA.

CAN WE MOVE ON NOW PLEASE YER MOANING LITTLE GIT?

It’s on this thread – and only three weeks ago! You and your fellow Bobby fanatics predicted that Roberto would take Everton into the bottom four.

You were so sure that this was going to happen that you were gleefully ticking off the minutes until it happened. Tick tock indeed.

Yip he beat a big club today but be prepared for him drawing against the likes of Cardiff, West Brom, Norwich and struggle to beat Stevenage in the cup…..oh he already has done??, come on lad if you heard the commentary on 5 live coming home from Leicester, Chelsea should have been 6 nil up at half time. tock fekin tick.

I trust you are still following the progress of Roberto at Everton. Perhaps “Cup Winner Bob” will win the cup for them too.

Can I just say at this present juncture that you my friend have too much time on your hands ! :)
Oh dear, foot…mouth….great poachers goal from the big man. Is there any other players that you are not looking forward to them returning? We may be on to a good winning formula here. ;)

Yes, it’s an excellent tactic to play against a team with only ten men.

However, you got it wrong once again – Holt didn’t score. But he is a threat at corners and free kicks, especially when the opposing centre half has been sent off.

It’s open play that I’m worried about. Even with overwhelming possession against ten men, Wigan found it difficult to create chances from open play, whether or not Holt was on the field.

But there is something I’m looking forward to – a well-reasoned post from you. You know you can do it.
All right then, it was awarded as an own goal, but it wouldn’t have gone in only for Holt’s presence so that will do for me.

You seem to be worrying about everything and anything, open play is the latest issue. I suggest you take a break from football and this board, pull yourself together, have a go at those colouring books you got for your birthday, have a nice rest and come back refreshed and positive, early in the new year. Who knows we may be in the top 6 by then and Everton in the bottom half of the table. B)

Why has the EPL finished my friend? I’ve got fek all wrong yet! ;)

There’s a long way to go and I will still put my money on Everton not making the top 6.

Any road, why should I let it go just because you says so??. I’ll post what I want sunbeam and and you can do the same. I’ll look forward to posting many more anti- Martinez / Everton comments, so I suppose I might as well get used to you telling me to let it go. :P

You’ve got it wrong already – your prediction was that Everton would finish in the bottom four, not just outside the top six.

You can continue with your obsession about Martinez as long as you like. But do try to get your facts right.
Please give me a link to the post were I predicted Everton would finish in the bottom 4?

It is you my friend who should get their facts right, I look forward to receiving that link and then I will post, just for you, what I actually said. B)

The sending off scuppered their attacking play, so not really a game to judge him.

I thought he worked hard chasing the big hoof and his goal scoring record this season is not to be sniffed at.
He is a lot taller than I expected and he headed a few balls on under the challenge of both Rogne and Barnett.

Whatever you all think, it’s a long time since a Latics side has had 71% possession,
15 corners and 20 shots at goal.
Certainley never experienced stats like that under our last manager. It used to take 5 games for stats like that.
Granted it was a league higher but we supposedly had a better team and a better manager.

Wigan gave their best performance of the season against Nottingham Forest. A fluid formation was led by Fortune, supported by Maloney and McCarthy. And Beausejour played instead of Crainey.

Although we won’t see that same team again, it does provide a model for the future. I’m not particularly looking forward to the return of Holt. He hasn’t been either dominant or mobile when he has played. Also, there has been an inclination to boot the ball upfield in his general direction, in effect giving the ball away.

We do desperately need a recognised forward and some clearer tactics. We need three points today too. Wigan stand fifteen points behind Burnley with three games in hand. Three wins and nine points would take them into sixth place, just above Blackpool.

Wigan have got a demanding programme, certainly until the start of the New Year and beyond it if we are successful in the Europa League and the FA Cup. It will become increasingly difficult to catch up with the league leaders if the gap becomes any bigger.

I thought the same thing, he won his fair share of headers against Barnett, which is no mean thing and had a real turn of foot.

As you say for a 26 year old, his career is peesh poor having played only 74 games.

He has a decent record for his current team with 6 goals in 10 games, but he is either extremely injury prone, or is generally shyte really.
