Perhaps he can cop off with all those belly bustin, greasy haired, cold sore infested chicks that Momo turned away from his harlem.
Never knew Momo lived in New York. Is Harlem famous for those sorts of chicks?
Ah come on you know what I meant. :P

What a journey!Dunno about Steele, but I was a massive fan of Phil Hughes when he was keeper here (even got his autograph on the back of my Moscow Torpedo friendly programme!!) so I’d be more than happy with him passing on his wisdom to Latics keepersYeah but can he stand on the half way line and catch the balls in his net that our goalie kicks out? If he can’t “bloody rubbish Wigan”

What a journey!Been doing a bit of scouring around the Burnley forums and it appears that the general consensus about McCann is that he was a superstar before getting is cruciate ligament done.
It kept him out for most of the first season burnley was in the prem and apparently they tried to get him back too early and he never returned to the standards he set before the injury.
Now that was their feelings before anything was mentioned about him joining Wigan.

What a journey!Let me just shout this out so you can hear it OK..
“ALI WILL BE OUT FOR THE START OF THE CAMPAIGN, HENCE THE REASON OC IS GOING IN FOR CARSON”.
OK young Nicholls may be worth a punt with Pollitt on the bench, but do we really think Carson is that bad he’s not worth buying for £400k, which in football terms is not two weeks wages for Wayne Rooney.
We’ve apparently bid a million squid for a right back from Derby, anybody heard of him?. Iv’e Googled him, but up to that knew diddly squat about the player.Get the fekker Carson bought and see who looks the best keeper in the pre season friendlies and take it from there. It’s better to be over subscribed in the goalie department, than having to throw Nicholls in after the possibility he may look pish poor in pre-season friendlies.
Lets move on to the next topic this thread is getting more boring than war and peace or A.R.S….no I wont go there.

What a journey! He’s not very good.Too many mistakes for me.Another Ali in waiting.
Name a goalie who doesn’t make mistakes?
The young Spanish lad at united looked at one point like the worst flapper in the history of goalies even with that defence in front of him. Roubles did superb for us but still got away with more than his fair share of poor “punch outs”. :woohoo:
Carson thought good enough to be signed by Liverpool and picked for England. In goalie terms he is still learning at 27. Great signing if that comes off at that price. :cheer:

What a journey! That’s a lot of money for a reserve keeper. Perhaps he would be first choice, although Coyle professes himself to be a fan of Al Habsi. It would be odd to have two experienced goalkeepers on the books – one is bound to be unhappy.
It’s usual to have a younger or older understudy. This arrangement would give little opportunity for Nicholls to progress.
And if Ali is only second choice at £4m… :woohoo:

What a journey! What about Leighton James and that pish poor ex Arsenal player who made his Burnley début against us Ian Wright. In the same game I remember a certain Mr Neil Roberts took the limelight with his brilliant display early into his Latics career. B)

What a journey! And dont forget JR there will be the ‘free loaders’ the complimentary brigade who will have their tickets already – no doubt good seats and sitting togetherAnd these lot will have no intention whatsoever of purchasing a season ticket for this season or next !!
Exactly, just like the cup final, block 101 was never up for grabs yet was full of “Latics fans”, no doubt it will be the same for the Community Shield.

What a journey!Doyle is crap, he’s found his level, he’ll probably still be lucky to hit 10 this season.
this is what really pisses me off how some fans can instantly form a opinion about a player without actually see the player playing
I’ve always rated Doyle and would have him tomoz. The other Oirish guy Shane Long is one of the best lone strikers I’ve seen in the prem, under rated and at times struggled to get in the West Brom team.

What a journey!Oh come on Jayt I’m talking about people who have been season ticket holders since Springy days and the database will show that they have renewed season after season.
Look at it another way, what about if you missed out on a ticket or best seat due to people who have bought season tickets for the very first time cos winning the FA Cup got them hooked?. I know you will say, but I wouldn’t miss out I got mine at 9:01am this morning.
What about fans who have got two Community Shield tickets with their season tickets, one for themselves and one for their missus or uncle who go to 2 matches a year. So I miss out on the best seats because you have got your great uncle Arthur one.
It’s very short-sightedness by the club having a deadline date for renewal, after tickets go on sale whereby you needed to have renewed your season ticket.
What the club fail to understand is that there are fans who do go on holiday at this time, there are fans with family season tickets and are struggling with finances and have to save up to pay for their season tickets.
Anyway like you I’ve got my Wembley ticket, so why should I be concerned for the lads who I have been going with for years have missed out, at least your great uncle Arthur has got one. :P
