Reg 4.4 of the competition rules:
. Any Club qualifying for a place in a UEFA club competition, up to a maximum of eight such Clubs, shall be exempt from participating in this Competition until Round Three.
So why do Reading get a bye, are they in Europe?

What a journey! Is it not something to do with the electric advertising boards at pitch side?. If you take notice when teams like Man U, Chelsea etc have played a European cup match at home, the first 3 or 4 rows are empty due to the advertising boards blocking out their view.

What a journey!Didnt know we get a bye into the next round due to being in Europe – Happy days!Cant say I am fussed about this Micky Mouse cup anyway.
FA Cup double on the horizon I tell ye.
No we got a bye because we finished higher up in the league than QPR. Reading have also got a bye as they also finished above QPR.
Sorry guys but nowt to do with the Europa Cup.

What a journey!4 home wins means we must have had no passion on or off.He never had a plan B and his body language wasn’t studious it was little boy lost .Did you not notice that he acted exactly the same on the touchline winning or losing?
So he was a little lost boy when beating Utd, Liverpool………..

What a journey!Sorry to be the bearer of ‘myth’ news:
Hi J
We are pleased to be able to assist and glad that you contacted us.
This ‘triangle corner/half-way line flags’ story is definitely a myth.
Flags can be any shape, as long as there is a flag.
The FIFA Law simply states:
Flagposts
A flagpost, not less than 1.5 m (5 ft) high, with a non-pointed top and a flag is placed at each corner.
Flagposts may also be placed at each end of the halfway line, not less than 1m (1 yd) outside the touch line.I hope that settles the argument.
Thanks
Jamie
TheFA.com”Could it be Jayt that your myth is a myth?
Check this forum out and 8 years ago it quotes exactly the same response that you have posted.

It is a “Jamie” that’s replied and that to me is a great coincidence and its exactly the same wording. Could it be that this response has been manufactured and passed around forums??

What a journey! At least Coyle shows some touchline passion unlike Rob and his finger puppetry .I thought Bobby was quite studious on the touchline, his brain analysing the game like a computer.
The ones that go ballistic and kick the water bottles after every decision goes against them, or a player miss kicks the ball, are just winding themselves up, the bench, players, the fans, the 4th official and ref.
I don’t see that as passion, I see it as living on their nerves and nerves from the management and fans can spread to the players.
Games are not won by passion on the sidelines, its passion on the field that wins um.

What a journey! Why wasn’t there the usual on pitch holding the jersey or live interview from Coyle ?.All’s we got was a 1 minute telephone call for to him by sky.He might have flown straight over to Spain looking at possible transfer targets, or being more realistic he might have rung in sick. :woohoo:

What a journey! The day I start to worry about what Bolton fans think of our manager is the day I book myself into a retirement homeI’ll come and visit you George.

What a journey!Ordered mine on-line, like to keep my WS5 position on the half way line. :)
It’s nice to see WISH FM plugging oure season tickets again.
We need to milk to death the fact that we are the current FA cup holders. I’m sure we will get some additional supporters this season, who got swept up in the cup final win and town centre parade. :cheer:

What a journey!I hope DW bides his time to get the right manager it will be the most important decision he will make if he wants to get the club back to the Prem at first attemptIf its true about big Dave interviewing 15 candidates, we should see somebody in post by about mid June 2015.
He will open every interview with the words…”Good morning my names Dave Whelan and did you know I broke my leg………………………………………………………………………… ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….” :(

What a journey!I might be missing the point in all this transfer, released, retained malarkey but if a player has “offer” against his name, does that not mean he has been offered a new contract, but as yet not signed it.??
If that’s the case then, unless another club come up with a better deal for the player, he remains with his current club. :blink:From Matlock to ManU
