i’ll only start to think about the permutations at 5pm on sat when walking out of hawthorns………….with a hard on and 3 points in the bag…………and 11 pints down my gullet

If I’m walking out the hawthorns after getting 3 nurps and feel something poking in my arris, I hope to fek it ain’t you behind mi SDW! :woohoo:

I don’t see were we have to get anything frumpt themeruts.

If we write that game off and villa do the same with Chelski game, albeit at home, that leaves us with a must win game for each club against Swansea and Norwich respectively.

If villa beat Norwich then fair play to um, but if they lose, that means we then have to turn um over at home and e presto done it again!

Wilst all that’s going on, who knows what will happen to Newcastle, Sunderland or Norwich, if Villa beat um.

Come on boys lets go into battle!

        Jrfatfan,

Don’t bet against Villa getting something off a weakened Chelsea side in a game played 3 days before the Europa final. You know what Benitez is like for resting players. I can see Villa picking a point up…..and that point could send us down.
Would they really play a weakened team and risk missing out on a CL place, whilst trying to win the Europa cup?

Not on the same critical level as some of the bad decisions mentioned in this topic, but there’s one that has done my head in for nigh on ten years and I bring it up at nearly every game at some point.
It involved our Arry who had just fouled a player literally about 20 yards from were I was sitting. He held his hands up gesturing it wasn’t a foul turned round and tapped the ball at max, 5 yards back towards were the incident had taken place. The ref bombed over to him and booked him for kicking the ball away. the ball landed literally a yard away to were the player was standing ready to take the free kick.

How many times on Saturday did spurs players get caught off side but still carried on at half pace, after clocking the linesman’s flag and blasted the ball at the goals and into the stand.

I can clear the Macmanaman substitution up for you boys and girls, basically he was totally goosed. :woohoo:

Just before his substitution, he made a couple of great tracking back runs, one ended in a great tackle putting the ball into touch, [one of those legit tackles where you get the ball plus clean the player out].
The second ended in the attacking player cutting back and hitting a long ball to their centre half. I said to my mate look at Callum Mac he was doubled over with his hand on his knees. He stood up grimaced and looked at the bench. Immediately Franco was told to warm up and within a few minutes the sub was made.

The worrying thing was it was only about 65 mins on the clock so you would expect the young man to keep going at least until the last ten mins or so.

I watched bobby’s interview on Latics Player they other day and he was talking about player availability for the Spurs game. He said Golobart is at stage one in a three week programme to get back playing. Apparently it’s an ankle injury.

The same 3 points are on offer at Arsenal as they are for the villa game. Bobby would be bonkers to rest any players at this stage of the season. Stick with what we’ve been doing and if lady luck is on our side, we may just get enough points to stay up. B)

I still think Sunderland are not out the mire. A defeat at Villa and despite all the arm waving that Di Canio has done, they are still in the mix. :woohoo:

Gomez and the rest of the team did more than OK on wednesday. Some better finishing and it could have been 3 or 4 one to us.

City’s midfield is not blessed with players who rush around closing the opposition down. I am quicker than Gareth Barry.

No. You are quicker than Barry Bethel. Marginally.
I’m quicker than Barry Bethel when pulling a Rickshaw with Lisa Riley in it.

Queue now round the stadium down along the approach road to the canal, down the tow path towards Wigan Pier continuing along the tow path through Poolstock, Ince, Whelley, New Springs to the green bridge in Haigh Hall.

If you only joining queue in the early hours of Sunday morning, you are probably better driving up to Adlington and joining it there. :woohoo:

The red section is 104, 105 onwards are £85.

It is the same for City, they only have one red sections as well, the two blocks either side of the dug outs are reserved by the FA.

The blocks directly opposite are reserved for sponsors and FA.

                                  Seating plan

Sorry Jayt I don’t see where you get £85 for the red seats, it clearly states on the link you gave red £115. I paid for the dearest seats for the semi I.E. £60. For the final the dearest seats are £115. The Wembley Premium club tier is not even in the price list so I’m afraid its one block red all £115. :woohoo:
