He failed to mention also the fact that we keep hitting the woodwork instead of the back of the net. B)

What a journey!Nope back from diving in a pile of shyte in Cairo and Port Siad.
I’m a bit like Simon Cowell with this Rodders guy, he’s no doubt a plonker but does make me laugh at times. Also makes me laugh even more, watchin the two stalwart chubsters reacting to anything anti chubster posts within seconds, but hardly ever contributing to general type Latics posts. They must hate the long silences especially during out of season egg throwing.
In all honesty I didn’t know that a rugger game was planned for Wembly and I get the WEP every night its out, or should I say morning its out.

What a journey!Well done Rodders, got the 2 rugby stalwarts hooked in MacGimp and Danny T and managed to put a self confessed ex chubsteress into yer keep net un aw. goodpost
Cue some stupid post from Arky and Co about tales from the river bank. :woohoo:

What a journey!Nowt against um Filmoss, seen um live about 4-5 times and it was 98% covers and 2% their own stuff.
Also watched their videos on the original posters link and saw clips of Wigan Rugby crowds, but nothing from the tics, oh yeh one lad had a tics top on with Boomin on t back.

What a journey! That’s it now this thread is on the right forum
IMHO, Boomin are an average covers band that let themselves down with their own music and taking their shirts off. Still they do go down well in the cherry gardens and bowling green. Will vote for them no probs. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!not exactly top notch, another one of the backroom staff with no top level experience, now i know some of the best managers/coaches havnt play the game at the highest level, but im sure the players would respond more to someone whos been there and done it,I’m sure if you brought in the likes of Terry Butcher, Tony Adams, Des Walker, Colin Todd or even Jackie Charlton, apart from probably Boycie, none of the other defenders at our club will have heard of any of these and many other “great” defenders, so you might as well have Dennis Lawrence coaching um.
Seems ironic that the only memory I have of DL, is him scoring against us when we lost a league game at the Racecourse ground many moons ago. He looked like the biggest la-zoom ever to have donned a football kit. :(From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Anyone going on Sunday? It is a huge game. The term “huge game” will depend on which direction you are coming from.
If its any other premier league club other than us and wolves, its not a huge game.
If you are a wolves fan, its probably 3 points int bag and therefore not a huge game.
If you are the producers of MOTD2 it will have already been allocated the last 27 secs of their Sun night programme, therefore its not a huge game.
If you are Whelan or Martinez who think that playing football the right way is more important than getting 3 points, its not a huge game.
If you are looking at it through my eyes, its a fekin MASSIVE game!!

What a journey!Type it offline first in one of those new-fangled word processing jobbies and cut and paste to it to CL when you’re done. Simples!Bleedin eck Griff seems a bit on the violent side to me all this talk of cutting and pasting. Hope you’re ok filmoss.

What a journey!I agree we are struggling in terms of league position, but I still think we have enough quality in the squad to stay up.
I watched the game yesterday and if you had been watching your first game of football, I’m sure you would have said that the team in blue looked the better outfit.
The highlights for me yesterday included the number of clear cut chances we made and the solidness of the back four…. for once. It’s far too early to write them off otherwise you may have egg on your face come May, just like a lot of people on here did last season. B)

What a journey!Did enough to win that game!!.
At least their goal wasn’t a give away for once. Thought we totally bossed that game today and had several scoring opportunities, 2-3 coming in the first 20 mins.Never mind lets choose to ignore any positives …….Martinez out!!

What a journey!I’ve not got the energy to get to my seat this season.
I never liked playing subbuteo and hate watching it even more. From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!Sorry that this response seems a bit leaning towards the light side, but to say we didn’t create anything, then I’m sure you didn’t go to the game.
Besides creating by far the best goal of the game, did I not see Moses creating at least 2 or 3 chances?
Did Hugo not come on and look the most dangerous player on the field going forward?
Did Di Santo not make a couple of surging runs in the first half that led to fizzled out efforts? My Bolton supporter mate who went to the game picked out 3 wanderers players who he reckoned “did owt” The rest he said looked shyte.
He also said he felt that we [latics] would score every time we went on the attack.
It just goes to show how fans see games differently, a bit like when winning 1-0 the last 5 minutes seem like an hour on the other hand if you’re losing 1-0 seems over in 30 seconds. In both cases that 5 mins is exactly the same.My view on the game was that we were very, very poor up to the Momo equaliser, then we suddenly looked like we would go on and win the game. Bolton were gifted their goals and didn’t have to work hard for them.
The goal 10 secs from half time totally changed the direction of the game. If Gohouri had put the ball into row Z, thus allowing the ref to blow the half time whistle, we may have seen a different result. :scared-eek:From Matlock to ManU
