Is it a sell-out or would I be able to wander up 15 mins before kick-off and get a ticket?
I went in the West stand once against Chelsea a few years ago, so I’m on the database as a “loyal” fan.
Nice to hear from you McGimp, just got back from OT have we? :happy-partydance:  :scared-eek:

What a journey!I remember us playing stoke away and O’Neil got a cut head, can’t remember if it was clash of heads or studs.
I’ve never seen as much blood on a player in such a short time. He was on or around the half way line and we was in the top tier behind the goals, but we could see his whole head and upper body turning red.football wise, thought he had a good left peg and great football brain, but a bit like our Jordi he was a bit on the slow side. :scared-eek:

What a journey! If anyone is interested Oaces are playing Swinley Labour Club this Friday as a warm up for the Orrell gig.
Just £2 door charge and it looks like being packed to the rafters. Only holds about 220 so get down early. For those who don’t like Oasis don’t bother posting anything, just move on to the next thread please.

EL replied….Oasis the modern day Status Quo. same song sold over and over again. Thank god they split.
PS what part of my statement in red did you not understand EL? :roll:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Apart from say Green Day, I can’t think of any other band or solo artist current or in history, whose songs sound different and could lead you into thinking who sings this.
Anyway the place was packed out with what I presume were Oasis fans as they all got up cheering and shouting after every song.
Each to their own I guess…..

What a journey!Gomez should not even make the bench in future ! Lets just hope that Bob realizes now after hauling him off at half-time ! I know the whole team were pants in the first half but that lad is uber s h i t e !!Totally agree with that comment, but the crowd don’t half focus in on every mistake.
There was instance today when Gomez came forward stumbled on the ball and it luckily went to Moses who then ran straight into one of their players and lost the ball. The bloke sat a few rows back jumped up and said get that fekin Gomez off he’s shyte.
I also think BW and James ‘thy were just has bad and got no stick from those around me.
James ‘thur comes on and makes an impact in every game he plays, why he doesn’t get pencilled in first on the team sheet is a mystery to me. :think:The second half has given Bobby something to think about, we played a load better with 10 men, perhaps that could be his best tactic at villa.
I wonder who everybody thinks he should leave out? :scared-eek:From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!Must admit, although its like the kettle calling the pan brunt ar_se, he has got a point about that Karl Henry.
Watched him over the past few seasons maiming loads of players, but manages to keep a low profile unlike the scouse mugger. :scared-eek:

What a journey!I’ll put this to bed now cos quite honestly you are getting on my fekin paps now.
Being passionate about something means you think that much about that something you would fight for the cause, especially in times of adversity.
The term passionate and LMB should not even be on the same planet.
You my friend have got an OBSESSION about wanting, wishing hoping Martinez fails just like I have an obsession about wanting him and my team to succeed [and wigan rugby lose, what a great result yesterday by the way  ].
The difference is I don’t come jumping on here after a good result making comments about what a great manager Bobby is or how great the team is blah, blah, blah.Like I said lets see if you search the net for commentators comments if we beat Spurs on Saturday? No don’t think so, you’ll go into hiding and then pop back out again with the same f-uckin drivel if we then get beat by Villa, perhaps making up a poem or song or two about the defeat.
It will be hard for me, but basically I will stop responding to any of your negative, boring repetitive, tirades if we lose, for fear of upsetting the other mate I’ve heard you might have.
Just get on with it.
Regards,

What a journey!Having travelled to away games with LMB on the coach i can honestly say he is no tosspot he is just passionate about this club. Bobby has had pro and anti posts ever since he took over just coz LMB is on the anti side it doesnt make him less a fan than anyone else? I enjoy the light/dark side debates and find myself agreeing with both parties on various points. Lets not get carried away and get personal tho eh.Read all the posts back from last season and this and see how personal LMB can be.
I will get my mate to stick up for me eh? and my mates bigger than LMB’s mate.
Passionate my f-uckin arse!!

What a journey!Cant see us getting anything from Spurs or Villa in the next 2 games, when 5 points from 7 games will look poor, more than likely in the bottom 3.Amazingly we took 4 points of those teams last year on their own middin. :scared-eek:

What a journey! How funny must it have looked in the LMB household. This site was down for over 24 hours and left poor LMB sat at his PC trying to log on every few minutes in order to post his commentator post.
seeing as i only watched the last programme(which i had recorded) only 10 mins before i posted that would have been hard – i just found it ironic 3 people who rarely watch us came to the same conclusion many wigan fans hold about the painfully slow drab football served up by martinez(one that you are yet to offer a credible argument against)
laughing at ones own jokes are a sure fire indication of madness or is it to much masturbating – could be either in your case.
Aw didums!!

What a journey!told every one on here that lopez was not up to the taskI agree with that on performances so far. There doesn’t seem to be that urgency needed to get a flying tackle in when called upon.
Just watched the replay of the game and 4 or 5 times he needed to throw himself into the tackle, but chose the lazy jockeying option and got caught out.All our CH’s need to find some happy medium of combining Caldwells diving in rash challenging game and Lopez’s wait, wait, wait piggin hell too late approach. :scared-eek:

What a journey!LMB Lets have a poll on here to see who the CL posters think is the biggest clueless no mark and I will put my mortgage on you finishing top by a country mile. Not sure how old you are but you come across as being a childish giddy kid in their late teens.
Bet your already working on your 2011-2012 Wigan Athletic relegation poem / song. Why don’t you do us and more importantly yourself a favour and fook orf from this board.
PS great win for wires yesterday and come on you Saints!! :happy-partydance:
me childish ?
i find that a little rich coming from someone who has sought out a website so he can post a smileyface type masturbating sign, my 12 year old son and his mates do that sort of stuff, tittering away at how clever they are.once again you show your lack of any credible thought, i asked you to respond to an accusation that 3 different commentators made against latics and because of your inability to offer any meaningful retort you show your true colours once again.[/quote]
By the same token how sad and childish it is that you have gone to the effort to find those quotes, or did someone e-mail them to you?
Even more sad and childish is the fact that you felt the need to post them on here. Why did you not seek and post various commentators comments after the QPR game??
My little grandson strops about if he doesn’t get to have his ice cream before he’s had his shepherds pie and beans.
Sounds like we are witnessing the same principle with your “wind up” posts. :shhh:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!so apart from the poor defending, which i will more than admit that you have a valid reason for, can you go onto explain the reason for the painfully slow dull play, and giving the ball away constanly by both midfield and fowards –
granted the buffoon cant do much if his players are unable to pass or trap a ball, but dont you think that the snails pace football we play has some bearing on the coach ?Yes and that type of snails pace football has kept us in the EPL when some of our “fans” thought and almost hoped we would sh-it out.
There’s 5 games gone and 5 points on the board with tough away trips at city, everton and swansea , out the way.
It can be frustrating at times watching this keep ball tactics that bobby employs, but with a fully fit team we can play it effectively and it looks good when we do.
Don’t think we have a god given right to go to places like Everton and come away with 3 points and a top drawer display. I watched the game and was as frustrated as the next man at the quality of our play at times. As I said we are struggling for fit defenders at the moment, especially the likes of Boyce and Alcaraz who can bring the ball out and link up with our midfield to get things moving forward quickly.
I’ll start to be critical of this team, manager, players and tactics when the players I’ve mentioned come back and we do struggle week in week out.I suppose you could describe this attitude of mine as sort of understanding the current predicament a little better than the likes of your good self LMB. Lets leave it at that. ;)
