I personally think he’s still a good squad member. Whilst he’s not exactly set the EPL on fire, he does have a bit of grit and tackles for fun.
When things start getting rough in the middle of the park late in a game, I wouldn’t mind seeing HT and James ‘thur in their. :angry-boxing:

What a journey!I copied and pasted it from the official FA website so didn’t think there was a need to count. I thought the previous threads would have been trollop cos of who was involved with the volley of posts.
but isnt that typical of you, not capable of thinking before you jump in, may i suggest in future you stick to your obsession with wigan warriors and leave the serious football discussions to the grown ups.
That’s a rich statement coming from a pilluk who made childish songs up about his teams ‘pending’ relegation.
childish maybe, my finest moment ? perhaps not, but it was meant to be tongue in cheek, but as it proved had the opposite effect, even though as i mention once or twice to you, it was thought out and researched, which may i add is something you, as you demonstrate on a regular basis, are incapable of.
Anyway I’m not getting dragged in to this calling each other malarkey, its too childish for me. ;)

What a journey!Back to the squad list after all that trollop, really disappointed that Callum McManamum and little Redmond are not included. Mind you if Crouch can’t make the Spurs 25 then our bright kids have no chance for wigan. If the two lads had made it, then who could have dropped out, this one is hard apart for you Gomez haters. :scared-eek:
Chris Kirkland, Michael Pollitt, Ben Watson, Emmerson Boyce, Gary Caldwell, David Jones, Hendry Suazo [don’t get exited that is Hendry Thomas], James McArthur, Jordi Gomez, Hugo Rodallega, Mohamed Diame, Maynor Figueroa, Steve Gohouri, Antolin Alcaraz, Franco Di Santo, Ali Al-Habsi, Ronnie Stam, Adrian Rodriguez [again don’t get too exited this is Piscu], Conor Sammon, Shaun Maloney and Albert Crusat.

What a journey!4m for Jerome and 5m for Scott Parker. Don’t know what wage demands both have, but which would you take??

What a journey!Agree a really good window. I expected to lose the likes of McCarthy, Rodallega and even Alcaraz.
OK we’ve lost Zog, but in Moses I’m sure we have an all-round better player who can fill his shoes this year.
My concern was left back even though Fig has show some of his old form this season. Was slated for his passing from some on here but I thought he was back to his old self during spells of the opening 3 games. Nevertheless we now have young blood completing for that spot now in Chelsea loanee PVA. The midfield his fairly well covered with the Maccas, Diame, Watson, Jones and the much improving Gomez who will play a big part this season if used as he was on Saturday in the free roaming role / hole just off the front man. He will create loads of goals if he’s allowed to make that role is own. If things get tough then HT comes in for a bit of shake em up time.
The newly acquired wide men will allow Rodallega to push into the CF spot and will be supported when needed, by Franco and the fish. You might see two of the three playing in some games as we go out to get goals especially if we go behind. The back four are OK, not world beaters, but with van Aanholt there is competition in all positions. I quite like Piscu and Gary Caldwell is a rough diamond in my opinion. Great leader, 120% effort with the chance of making the odd mistake, but so does JT.
Boycie is solid at RB, Centre half and Left back, Gohuori can do a job at RB and CH but I prefer him at RB. Ronnie Stam won’t let you down at RB or RH. and Piscu has the temperament to do a similar job as Antolin.
The Keepers, are the best 3 we’ve had at the club for a long while.
Finally in the manager we have the master tactician. With rough yeds around him like Jonsey and Barrow he brings that little touch of class that is seeing us play his way and now beginning to get results. unbeaten in 7.Well done Bobby and big Dave, a very productive and team settling window, that I’m sure unlike our very own PJ said when at the helm, you’ve not felt like putting a brick through it!!

What a journey!Just noticed that Chelski had given him a four year extension to his contract a couple of months ago. Seems they must be grooming him for the left back position when Cole starts slowing down.

What a journey! We seem to be busy on deadline day which is good but we need to add more goals to the squad. Come on Bob we need a striker   :pray:Rodders, Franco and the Fish.
Only one of these will be selected in the starting 11 now he has his wide men.
I don’t think a striker is on Bobby’s agenda now he looks to have hung on to Hugo. :scared-eek:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Probably cos they’ve got loads of money to spend.
That reminds me now, what ever happened to big Daves war chest

What a journey! At least the outcome was great and knocked the smile off the laid back chewing ginger cretin.
How smug did he look during the game laying almost horizontal on the bench and at times appearing not to be bothered to look towards the pitch.Loved it when he scampered towards the tunnel at the end of the pens like a lonely lost soul. :D
