I don’t care where Stoke play him if they sign him

The move, coupled with us not seemingly being linked with any wingers whatsoever, leaves me slightly baffled as to how latics will play a system that includes 2 wide midfield men without any recognised wingers in their squad – Rodallega aint no left winger in the memory of man, Moses produced his best form for his previous club in the centre, from what I’ve heard from United fans they rate Cleverley very highly “as long as Fergie doesn’t ruin him by sticking him out on the wong like he did with Fletcher”

As big a plant pot as N’Zogbia seems to be he was the one player in the entire squad capable of stretching the opposition & getting behind their defence

yeh I know what you mean, how can we be expected to go down to the likes of Spurs with no recognised wingers and get a re…………fek me!! :D :o

If you only knew how many times I’ve said to people today “you know if I’d topped her on my wedding night, I’d be out now”

Will no doubt be up pishing all neet and roll into work looking like compo. :?

Any result against a team higher than you in the league or cup can be deemed a “scalp”.
Just recently Hartlepool beat Sheff U in the Carling cup and I’m sure the monkey hangers would see that as a “scalp”. Does that necessarily make Sheff U a big club?

If Morcambe was to beat Scunthorpe then that would be a scalp is Scunthorpe a big club?.
Blackpool have just beaten Wigan in the prem and from their reaction that was a scalp. Are we a bigger club than Blackpool?

Your digging yourself in a bigger whole Dave, please leave it.!

If history plays a part in deciding what a “big club” is, as griff and VAT suggest, then Notts County and Preston North End are also big clubs.

How far do you want to go back FFS? We are talking 2010 my friends and West Brom in the scheme of things are no bigger than Wigan.
My point will be proven when they yoyo yet again and the 15,000 faithul will turn up to boing, boing um again at the Hawthorns, whislt we fight it out for the 7th consecutive season in the big league.
Here is their CV. Can you imagine if they had only had one manager during the 122 year history and he was now applying for a job to manage a top 4 team in the prem league. But Mr chairman I manage a big club, look at my record…

There was no need for that long response Dave.
Unless you or anyone can give a proper definition of what a “big club” actually means, then I would refrain from even suggesting that WBA are bigger than Wigan.

I’ll give you my definition for what its worth.

A team that fight out the premier league title year after year.
A team that regularly represent their country in europe.
A team that have won major trophies and are there and there abouts each year in the FA and Carling cup.

What doesn’t make a big club in my eyes is:-

One that simply has a big fan base. Whats big about that? The likes of WBA, Newcastle and Leeds get massive followings when they are doing well but they fall off like hell when they are not. If thats what makes them a big club then its you that is deluded Dave. The fans that come on here from those clubs have obviously spouted out their drivel for that long, they’ve convinced you that they are massive clubs.

Just tell me what WBA have done in the past 20 years to make them a big club apart from get 20-30 thousand watchingh them?

I’ll save you the time in responding…..Fek Aw!! :o

I’m sure Quinn will have told thelifunt mon, its Asamoah Gyan or charlie boy. I can’t see them paying out over 20m before the window closes having already forked out a few million over the past few weeks.
Being that campbell looks like being a long term casualty, his main priority will probably be a centre forward and not a winger. I don’t think he feels Welbeck is a first choice starter yet.

Not sure whether I really want Bobby to keep Charlie, but on the other hand would hate him to go to Blunderland.

West Brom have the envious record of being the worst “Yoyo club” in premier league history.
On the other hand, Wigan have never been relegated from the premier league.

Which of the two do you feel deserve the acolade of being called the bigger / better club.? :? ;) :o
