What a journey!’Feuteurventura’ ? Not heard of that, where is it? Is it similar to Fuerteventura ? On a serious note, how’s the weather in The Canaries as I’m going to Lanzarote in just over 4 weeks? I know it’s a month off but I’ve been told that the weather out that way ain’t been as good as usual for this time of year so I’m panicking!
I don’t know if it’s still open but there used to be a Wigan Athletic bar in Lanzarote, not sure if it was in Puerto del Carmen or costa teguise, it was in one of them.
It was in Puerto del Carmen owned by a great tics mon and ex Rainbow Cottage member Graham Hill. Both Graham and his lovely wife Caz passed away tragically quite a few years ago. His bar was a shrine to Latics, but got ransacked after their passing. I managed to save Micky Worswick’s shirt that he wore at Wembley in the old FA vase final v Scarborough, it is now on display at the DW in memory of Graham. Not aware of another Latics bar in Lanzer.
Micky Worswick lives on one of the roads on my round but doesn’t have me as his window cleaner! :cheer:
What a journey! We came out Monday and it’s been hot with the usual wind. As I’m typing this, it is very cloudy with a fine drizzle, looks like it’s in for the day. Still in mi shorts and no top showing all the world the bronzed Adonis that is JR. Tee hee

What a journey!Watched the game in Feuteurventura. The pitch looked awful and the wind was strong, however we still tried to play football. I don’t think Bradford got out their own half more than 2 or 3 times in the second half. Fantastic win, I can now enjoy the rest of my hols, no pressure for us on Sunday, but will take a victory before flying back home on Monday.

What a journey!Fek off you moaning git a hat trick of moans before the start of the second half!.Never miss an opportunity to slag your team off.
Wait till the end of the game you numpty before spouting your usual drivel.
I would have put my mortgage on you amongst the usual bunch of pessimistic tworts to be on here moaning.
End of post for me, I’m going celebrating a great point. From Matlock to ManU

What a journey! Why can we not have free WiFi in the ground? Many public places have it, I was in Leeds a few months ago and all the main shopping areas had it.
Most fans like to keep an eye on the scores from other matches and whilst there is no free WiFi in the ground, the mobile networks are hit and miss with some days no signals at all.
Surely the club WiFi could be shared with the fans. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I’ve heard quite enough about this now, its fekin boring. You would have thought this was the first time fans had ever run onto the pitch.
Nobody was killed or injured, it was just over exuberance following an unblelievable result that nobody expected. Two things to note by both clubs and fans.
Players; When the whistle goes and you see the first trickle of fans enter the field, run like fek to the tunnel.99% of the city players did just that on Monday
Fans;you shouldn’t go on to the field at any time, if your emotions go on overdrive and you are magnetised to the pitch, do not approach any oposition players, usae your energy on patting the backs of your own players.
Mutty, Enjoy

What a journey! Is nobody taking notice of what I’ve said. The game is planned for 2:30pm on Sunday. GM police are not happy that the half marathon, 5K and 1k races are taking place that day in Wigan so police resources are being stretched. With the poor publicity the old bill got for the City game, they are desperate for the game to be moved to another day. Who will win, GMP or the FA?
