Halifax if I remember reet my feet were that cold I put two breeze blocks over my shoes stood on the town end freezing my fookin spuds off. Glory days eh, football was more fun then no poxy formations just good old British ways.
I was also on that day didn’t it finish 0-0 un aw?? I remember getting home and going through the pain barrier during the body warm transition. :woohoo:

What a journey!Perhaps. But they still outnumbered the stewards, unlike here:

Well zoomed in, there are 2500 latics fans just out of shot to the right, I remember that game. B)
Having said that I have never claimed that we get big crowds cos we don’t. We actually don’t do too bad with respect to home crowd to away crowd ratio.
On the other hand you boasted about Sunderland’s following at Sheff wed. For every one of them I’ll show you 5 like the Goodison following, very fickle fans indeed, almost as bad as those Geordies. :woohoo:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! You only have to look at the faces of the two pillux wearing um to get a feeling for what the players think of um.

What a journey! No announcement on the Official site yet of the signing and any windfall we may be getting. You won’t, its been slipped into Big Dave’ warchest when nobody was looking.

What a journey! What is our allocation for this one, it’ll be interesting to see how many we take at them prices.
The visitor’s end holds 6658 – 4164 in the top tier and 2294 in the lower. If you sell out of those ;) , then there’s 1337 available in the “overspill” of the corner.
I’ve not been there since the promotion season under Roy Keane, when the overspill area was used.
Perhaps they were still at Hillsborough when this was taken.

What a journey!Who gives a shite what Martinez does with Belgium? He’s on his second job since he jumped ship from us.Maybe we should get him back with us, then we can really have a good go at him.

What a journey! He may do OK with this one, he’s appointed an assistant in Henry that will tell him if he thinks things need changing.
A bit early to say he is going to fail after just one gam,e and it was a top 6 international team Spain who beat um..

What a journey!Bruce wanted to sign him at Hull and spat his dummy out and resigned when he was told no.
You must be wearing jam jar bottoms for specs if you think he’s lazy. For me he wastes far to much energy doing stuff that the defence and defensive midfielders should do,
I love watching the lad play, he has talent way beyond is years, he is a bit of wild card and will take some managing, lets hope he has grown up a bit and knuckles down and gets fully fit.A 100% Nick Powell will be the stand out player in the Championship by a country mile. B)

What a journey! If Powell had have kept his early form and not shown the Billy Big Bollox attitude our club could have very well clinched an automatic or play off promotion the first time he was here. I cannot understand any reason for bringing him back. Someone to move on in the next window possibly. You need to keep hold of your better players

What a journey!Wolves in this league must not have rated Byrne and likewise Cardiff with Lefondre. Derby too offloaded Warnock and Buxton with no plans for them. Hunt too came to us not in the plans of Fulham. Now all these players were surplus to the requirements of our competitors at our level yet all deemed good enough for us. Who knows with getting a chance with us they may all prove their ex clubs wrong. Let us hope so. There is something about our club that can do this. Remember Heskey Melchiot Nzogbia and even Bramble who all had points to prove and did at Wigan.
We will upset a few along the way this season and if we keep the style of play we had for the second half of last season once gelled together we should be comfortable.
I just think this system of preparng for a season is ridiculous but that is out of our hands.Who TF is Hunt?

What a journey! It might be just a fez he’s going through.

What a journey!Where will he play? In goal or up front?
Right back if it’s the same Burke who played against Blackburn and Birmingham and I presume it is! Played well the couple of times I have seen him, in fact I was baffled as to why he was taken off so early against Birmingham as he didn’t appear to be injured or anything?
I hope that’s not a serious reply Phil, or have you not been keeping up?
Keeping up with what? I thought he was our player from day one?
You are getting the Burkes mixed up you Burke! :P

What a journey!,Reece burke signs season long loan good signing or what ?
Hopefully!
Cant be any worse than Caldwells other recruits this season
A tad unfair that statement, Gilbey arguably has been our best player in the opening 5 games, Bogdan has already saved 3 penalties, and played quite steady in all the games I’ve seen so far this season, and that is all the 5 league games. Garbutt looks like he will be a good signing although to be fair GC made some stupid positional changes against Forrest & QPR to fit this guy in the team. Powell must be the best free signing in the history of football if GC can keep him focused, what a player he is, Warnock has had 3 MOM’s in the fist 5 games, a great permanent acquisition that gives us another loan signing place. Buxton has not really done out wrong and our defence looked more solid with him in the team last Satdy. Not seen enough of MacDonald to make a call either way, and probably neither have you, so time will tell with him. The young right back from Wet Spam has not managed to kick a ball in anger yet and we ll know what Jordie Gomez can do at this level. Finally the tall lanky Mr Burn, this guy is a disaster waiting to happen, Idon’t want to see him on the bench even, so yes agree with you on this one bad signing, but definitely not on all the others.
