Stinks this.
EFL pass new owners as fit and proper – owners pull the plug after 4 weeks refusing to meet first payday obligations and we’re slapped with a 12 point deduction. Where’s the justice?
Division 3 champions B)
Found them very sinister myself.Springy and JJ were jolly and cheerful – these are just … well… disturbing.
Do they have a name?
I think they’re called Latics Lad and Latics Lass.
How come all the other teams have 4-5 friendlies yet we only have 2? Also, the game against Colwyn Bay isn’t even our first team, it is a Wigan XI so it will mainly be under 18 and reserve players playing. Surely we can’t only be playing one friendly?
What date is the first game?It should be around the 13th of August but we’ll find out for sure when the fixtures are released on the 17th of this month :D
Fulham at home I’m hoping, decent side but terrible away form. Really can’t see them beating us at home.
From Roberto
Quote 27-02-11
“I think now the squad is really, really strong and we’ve got very good options – a lot of competition, it’s very good”.
Quote – 03/03/11
“Now is a real test of character and a challenge we have to enjoy. Yes, it is a real fight and we will need to work really hard to stay in the Barclays Premier League, but we are going to do it with style.”
Quote – 05/03/11 after city game
“We had more corners than the home side, more possession, better possession, better chances and at the end we didn’t get anything out of the performance apart from a huge belief. And I think with performances like today, you don’t get the points straight away but you get the points long term and I’m extremely proud of the performance of the players.”
I struggle to work out exactly what he is on about he talks utter shoite. And the sooner he fooks off the better Wigan Athletic will be.
You need to look at the bigger picture, surrounding our financial situation……
…if you do, you’ll see that he’s actually doing a smashing job, and exactly what is needed for us as a club in the long term.
Financial Situation? He was allowed to spend around £10,000,000 and he wasted it on Mauro Boselli and Ronnie Stam :|how frightenings that!!At 8:45pm the percentages are exactly what I predicted.
No, you said 17% would predict we’d lose when in fact 17% have predicted we’d draw. Close though ;)
keep up the good work boys :)
You can tell you were desperate to start this thread. I’ll bet you had it typed out ready to hit “submit” the second we went behind.

No.. :?It was always going to be a hard second half but our defence was dire. Terrible clearances, went to them every time and wasted about 3 or 4 very good chances.
Good game but our defence was yet again terrible. Also, why were we time wasting at 2-2 instead of going for another goal, we could have really done with 3 points.
Oh and Moses at the end :o he was so nearly through on goal :(
keep up the good work boys :)

I know :DTo be honest, if we’re paying £250 a year shouldn’t we be allowed to voice our opinions without being knocked out with a chair.
It’s a free world after all :)Well if you want to call um, why not sit in the away end and you won’t look out of place. Even with my good right arm, I probably won’t reach you with a chair from the middle of the west.
Fair enough. 8-)He’s not using us as a stop gap like melon head at Sunderland.Tell that to Swansea fans.
