Remember Heskey filling a centre back role at Sheffield United when we stayed up but would you really play him there every week?
Naismith did well filling in for Dunkley during suspension but was caught out poor marking for both goals at Swansea and one against Bristol.
He did well filling in but we need a solid reliable centre back.
8 million would be good business.Move Naismith across to left then centre back between top scorer Dunkley or Mullgrew if he would sign permanent.
My son doesn’t want to go anymore, don’t blame him
My apologies get him rugby or man u top then.
Get him a rugby or man u top then.
Well at least there was a chance we would score with a striker on the field.
More threat than Windass all game.personally think players need to spot Windass’s runs a little early and get the ball to him Even after just one game Dowell made a comment in his interview about how good Josh is at playing on the defenders shoulders and making those runs.
One split second hesitation from the player on the ball leaves Windass in no-mans land. I’ve been saying it for ages we need a quality player who can preempt those runs rather than wait till Josh has made his move. The likes of Robbie Fowler made a career of playing off the defenders shoulders but was fortunate to have world class midfielders supplying him with ammunition.Agree completely but I’m never confident when he occasionally gets through he has the quality and confidence to finish.
Windass missing 2 penalties would of been too much to take.
The substitution was made trying to run the clock down instead of keeping concentration and focus.
What a load of bollox!!
With Naismith.
Sorry cant find any mullgrew injury.
So was dunkley so why did kipre come on for mullgrew?
If hes waiting for a payoff what about a left by mutual agreement where a compromise is agreed.
Dont think cook wants to be at the stadium against West Brom.If kieffer Moore had Powell giving him assists how many goals would he have now?
Reece James also that’s what we have lost. -
