my argument was based on the fact that boycey is playing for a prem team and coloccini is still at newcastle a division below. If he was better than boyce surely one of the premier league teams would have had him but they havent because hes been poor since he moved over here.
Coloccini is a championship defender at present, and was part of the newcastle team who went down last season so he cant be THAT good.
Boycey has been one of the most under rated buys at Wigan since we were promoted. He solid and dependable, yes hes not the fastest but i dont feel nervous when hes in the team. Boyce and Bramble are doing well and Killgallon would only be cover imho.
id say you’ll still be going every home game with your ticket in your pocket. The guy sat behind me said hes never going again after the villa game last season (4-0) and he ranted about best players leaving to and yet this season hes back with his family in tow aswell.

why do most posters on here claim to a)know what our players earn b) know what we spend income on c) blame everything on dave whelan?
no one on here knows for sure what each player earns and knows anything about how the clubs finances are distributed, we dont know what income we get from sponsers etc and the only income we roughly know is the sky £40m which seems to be spouted from the media. So unless we find this out stop claiming crap after 5 games of the season.
Yeah were all disappointed about the players that have left but valencia, heskey and palacios all moved to bigger clubs with better prospects, fact.
We have to be optimistic yes but also realistic.
