I’ve reconsidered!
What a result today Phil !!!
I popped a cork on a nice white Spanish Albarino (to celebrate our Spanish heritage) and threw together a crab and prawn risotto for our Peg’s tea ! Can’t believe that we scored, yet again, in the last 15 minutes to deal victory. Think I need a stiff brandy to steady the nerves
Don’t quite agree with you CW.
It was hardly boring, since we played some good attacking moves and had a legit goal chalked off. Have to agree that we should have introduced Thelo for the last 20 / 30 mins. IMO Massey is history and we should let him go in the window before his contract expires; and concentrate on our young stars instead.
Hopefully our strategy for the window will be to find some experience to get us over the line, rather than a punt for the future. What exactly was Morsy claiming for to the ref, when Callum scored.
Can’t of been offside, because Morsy was on the goal line !
Can’t of been handball, because Callum knocked it in with his right foot !
Can’t of been for John Boy Walton falling over in the move prior, because there was an Ipswich player in between him and McLean !Another screamer from Jimmy Mc.
Was that better than last week’s goal
Good day at the office, in this crazy league
Unexpected results don’t just happen to the Latics
Reports coming in from Bolton of instability within all wood and timber structures in the town. Apparently Bolton Wanderers fans are desperately trying to crawl back in!
Ian Evertit is unavailable for comment but a spokesman for Wigan Athletic stated “Bolton got battered, it happens everywhere they go”
Hey Phil, great to chat with you at Horwich Central on the way home.
Well, I popped into the CO-OP at Lostock Hall and purchased FOUR bottles of DOOM BAR, to celebrate the goals that we scored against “the best team in the World” (apparently) and create a cloud of Doom over Bolton
Great goal from Jimmy; must be one of his best !
Sent us Tics home happy
BREAKING NEWS
Ian Evertit has been admitted to hospital with posterial pains.
Eyewitnesses state “he got his arse kicked by Wigan Athletic in the afternoon”

Hey good to see you Phil, at Horwich Central, yesterday.
Popped into the CO-OP at Lostock Hall, on the way home, and bought FOUR bottles of Doom Bar to celebrate each Latics goal and the Doom that we inflicted upon the “best team in the World”; apparently !Brilliant James McLean goal yesterday; must be one of his best ever.
Let’s keep it up on Tuesday
Power fuels the Believe Bus back to the summit
What fuel crisis?

What a way to respond. Bet he was on an all time high, after bagging that one ! Well done Max
So why didn’t the Administrators evict them, or serve them with a winding up order; base upon non payment of overdue liabilities ?
Well Phil,
In memory of an old chap and long standing Latics supporter since 1932 that I knew when I was a young Tic – I sometimes gave him a lift to Springfield Park and would often have Latics chat with him at the Bowling Green at Mossy Lea; and when I offered to buy him a drink, his answer was always – “I’ll just have a gill”. So tonight, it’s not cabernet or merlot; it’s just a gill of ale (quite fitting for a brilliant win at the Priestfield, and that’s how Jimmy Robbo would have celebrated !!!
An assist and a goal! That Charlie Wyke is dynamite!!
Seems to be really finding his feet now!
His contribution to the game as a whole, was spot on yesterday. He never gave their defence a moment to relax.
Loved the Wyke Lang combo; reminded me of Toshack & Keegan !Hi Phil,
Ever tried Goslings Black Seal 151 Rum, from Bermuda.
At 75.5% proof, it don’t take many to blow your socks off !Cheers LHL
Brilliant, Phil
Ha ha ha! Yes relegations!
I did have my regulation quantity of booze following our win.
Now where’s Lostock Hall with his wine selection?
Well Phil, the selection was easy :-
Passo Del Sud Appassimento, from Puglia Italy.
It is what you may refer to as a small boutique wine with a powerful finish; just like the Latics then
