Looks like it’ll be Irongate (or whatever it’s fancy names is now) for us next season Lostock…
The mother in law lives 5 min walk away so no parking issues…

</noscript>Well, it might come to that. It’ about a 20/25 min walk for me.
Anyway, do you believe the hype about selling 4,000 STs tom date ?
So basically a further 2,000 have signed up since the last deadline extension whilst the manure pile has just got deeper

</noscript>Well if it comes to that; I reckon I could walk it in 20/25 mins.
Anyway, can’t believe the hype that we have sold 4,000 STs to date; especially since it was 2,000 at the last renewal extension and the manure pile has continued to get deeper

Arrived about 11:30 am today, with Wigan Athletic / ticket office plastered on the envelope.
Hardly discreet and maybe a temptation to any light fingered scally on the postal journey; or do people not touch the envelopes these days ?Who’s going to nick one of our ST’s?

Well said Vat69.
At the half way point of the season I thought “well there’s 23 fixtures left for SM to sell his brand of football to me, and 4 or 5 months for the Invisible Man (Danson) to prize my hard earned cash out of my pocket and sign up for another season. With 17 to go it’s not looking good. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fait accompli before the last quarter of the season.
It will be a tough decision; but one that is made for me and not by me
As I’ve said previously; he’ll get the loose change; just enough to buy a round of Bovrils for the squad after training session.
I think Danson is re-inventing the PONZI scheme.
And for that reason CW, I’m out !!!
Even if the new season ticket was priced at a tenner !Get Ronaldo in; he want’s to buy a few football clubs apparently
Last week the Lincoln player was clearly offside, but was considered not to be interfering with play as their No 25s shot come cross is struck.
This week it bites us in the arse the other way; as we have a goal chalked off when Owen Dale’s shot is struck and we have players who are not interfering with play in offside positions.
Spot on that, CW
All the posters on this thread (most of which are long term Latics men) make very valid points & observations.
I find it depressing & sickening that our beloved club has hit an all time low, in terms of abject management from the top down; not to mention our regressive style of football.I certainly don’t intend to renew my season ticket, unless an epiphany happens in the remaining 3 months of the season; and once my mindset has re-adjusted to life without my “Latics fix”, it will be difficult for the club to win my support back. I definitely will not be the only one.
Just confirmed: Thelo is a Hatter for an undisclosed Fee.
And for the second 45 mins.
Not a single shot on target.
Wouldn’t give any Latics player more than a four performance rating.
Dale Taylor played well on Saturday, but was invisible today.Absolute garbage, so far !
Don’t know if you picked up on it; on Saturday’s post match comments.
SM mentioned for a nano-second that he knows what Dale and Will can do together as a front two pairing.
So we are about to see that tonight as Thelo is yet another bargain basement give away.I’ve just about had it with the “invisible man” (Dansen) orchestrating the fire sale !
Then to top it, our Knob End neighbours are trying to get in on the act.
No bloody ambition left in our club
You’re about right with that one, Vat man.
Rumoured yesterday that Blackburn have had a £3.5m bid turned down. I guess that just gets the ball rolling; with plenty time left to whip up some more interest.
Interestingly, on the way home I was tuned into radio Lancashire and the post match inquest declared that they need a No 10 in the transfer window
Definitely; a Latics legend !
