Yes, that would be nice !
It’s happened again, It’s happened again; Wanky Wanderers it’s happened again
Let’s hope we are turning the corner before boxing day
The ultimate price that Danson will pay, is relegation and the loss of hard core supporters.
Maybe, that’s his ultimate strategy
Certainly feels that way.
I’m already resigned to giving up my longstanding season ticket; just can’t stomach the lack or pace of ambition ouzing from Danson. You don’t turn out on match days, just to take part and make up the numbers; somebody needs to wobble his head and his wallet.Good luck to Humps for tomorrow. Don’t really want to lose, but if he make’s Danson eat his words !!!
The answer is No, and No.
He’s a Slutch Rat fan.Hello there Ste; hope them new knees are settling in and you’ll be back on the terraces soon
It wouldn’t be so bad if we were playing more attractive / winning football; but that is definitely down to Maloney. That’s where my patience is running thin, and the only person with the power to make the needed change is Danson. So that’s why I’m losing confidence, rapidly, in Danson. If he watched the games he could see that our squad is slightly above average for this division, and with a more positive style of football we could be chasing a play off spot. He must realise that we need to stay in this division, because relegation would set us back years. His lack of personal involvement is concerning and is not a good sign. He could be a Sludge Rat in Sheep’s clothing
I’ve said for a while now, that these are the games where he should experiment with formations and players in different positions. For example:
I think Jason Kerr could make a very good “stand in” centre forward in this division. He’s strong and can get past the opposition and can head a ball. His shooting & scoring ability can’t be any worse that our current lame duck centre forwards. Plus we have ample defenders to fill the void at the back. Trouble is, SM will not adopt a more traditional formation with a true centre forward leading the the line, so we wouldn’t pass to him
Likewise, he could try Sam Tickle up front. He’s quite a big guy and has already learned to dribble at close quarters, under Maloney’s possession obsession. Oh, and he has a powerful kick with either foot.
Maloney is too predictable and so boring.
I take it that I didn’t miss too much tonight Sounds like different day, different competition, but same old crap.
I had a nice night in the pub @ Higham, attending the Black Moss Fly Fishing Association AGM
That would have never happened in the past; but hey thank you Shaun Maloney !
A growing number of our fans now share these same opinions. Trouble is, Maloney is too stubborn to consider our views, opinions or observations; when collectively we’ve witnessed enough football to know the difference between good or bad. His ego tells him that he is the expert and he doesn’t need to listen to the paying customers.
It’s absolutely painful at the moment, seeing our club dying on it’s feet !Plus, I don’t trust Danson.
He’s not exactly leading from the front. You are spot on guys
Some teams build their formation around a striker; enough said !Let’s put some perspective on the table:
Danson’s net worth is currently 1.349 billion +
In the last 12 months his net worth grew by 56 million.
So put a million quid in a bucket, and now fill another 1,348 bucketsNow explain why we are scratching around without any money to spend.
Danson is not committed to helping the Latics to be successful; period !
It’s so bleedin obvious.
He wouldn’t even notice a few missing bucketsCorrect assessment Mr Brownbill, but depressing reality !
You just can’t make this tale of woe up !
Are you watching SM ?
You could be right CW, in that Danson is just our caretaker owner and his overriding commitment is to the sludge rats and to get his hands on our stadium. This feels worse than the Bill Kenyon era, with the only difference being that there is no Dave Whelan to rescue us from that slippery slope. I genuinely thinks our chances are numbered and if Tickle & Assgaard are sold in January (with no direct replacements brought in) it will tell a story.
So what do we expect this coming Saturday ?
I’m not giving my “entitled” opinion, because it will put too much pressure on Shaun MaloneySkeg’s you are sweating the small stuff and missing the point that we have played poorly for the majority of the season so far!
Had Carlisle not been down to 10 men, I fear the result would not have gone in our favour. Had we lost, it probably would have been bye bye Maloney
