Strange….
Not a fat person in sight here.
But all that lard round the table with Bobby.
Makes you wonder who has the fat fans.

** Part of the 3 for £30.
Lets not forget the 2000 freebies made available for games either…
Not exactly packing ’em in yourselves are you?

The only 16 odd stone people I have seen recently were the ones who names their daughter Latics.
16 stone, hit every branch of the ugly tree as she fell, and having a kid with the village idiot.
Is that your “typical” fan?

Yes, but at the times you stated they would have either been at the game or travelling back from the game, not spending their ticket & travel money in the pub.
hope no one falls off when they take them down wud leave a big crater in the goal mouth! :twisted:http://www.wiganwarriors.com/news_full.asp?newsid=5522
Not a fat person in sight.
I did note though that the Wigan Warriors fans had got the idea from being season ticket holders at Anfield and Old Trafford, where flags are regularly displayed.
Warrington on Saturday and The mighty latics on the Sunday….a good sporting weekend..I hope you at least get a sh@g from ‘er indoors JC, as your weekend must’ve been really really sh it.
Read the originator’s post again and I think you’ll find he got a kicking for trying to stop the aggro – He never “walked by”.
Smart, intelligent, articulate…. Is he the new “Special One”?
agree with all of that, he just looks the part , like mourinho but without the arrogance.
i have a feeling he is going to be one of the greatest managers in world football. he has greatness written all over him.
and as we all know, he is 1 of the nicest fellas you could wish to meat and he loves wigan and its fans. The appointment of him as our manager by whelan could well be the best thing whelan has ever done for the club and he to deservbes some credit for having the balls to appoint an untried manager, just hope he backs him enough to reach his true potential instead of expecting mairracles.
cant wait for tomorrow night.
Oh really?
It appears the Wiggin Walk has been stolen. It was last seen at the DW Stadium on 21 February 2010, at about 6pm.
and of course there was no fighting or violence, or old men getting hit on the Retail Park a couple of years ago when Middlesbro were in town. Or were the posters on here who were bleating like fu ck making it all up?
There’s thugs all over the place.
They generally only come out to play when Wigan lose.
Its been a quiet month so far on here…. :)
It was more in the way of £10m for Bent with a couple of add-ons that will probably not come to much as:
a. We wont qualify for Europe!
b. He wont get picked for England.Having said that, if it wasnt for his 15 goals, we’d be really in the sh it.
I would be very disappointed if SB was sacked. There is a minority of our fans who think we have a god-given right to be top-half material, whilst the vast majority are more realistic. He inherited a lot of dead wood that was Roy Keane’s panic buy scattergun approach to player selection. Bruce’s Harrods purchases have generally been good ones, but getting them to gel with the donkeys that Keane bought from Aldi & Netto has proved nigh on impossible.
I expect us to continue to flirt with the bottom 3 until mid April, when we have Burnley at home followed by Hull Away, at which point we will have retained our premiership status. Another transfer window of shipping out the crap and buying half-decent players will see an improvement next season, and if it is still going Pete Tong in 12 months’ time, then maybe he’ll get the bullet.
Oooh, the venom!!You never know Mutty, some of our fans could have been singing it in 1995 when they were following their team at the time…but times change and now the sing the 2010 version following their local team.
They’re not your fans. They are only there because they cant afford a season ticket at Old Trafford, and having a ST at the DW gives them a chance to see Man Utd once a year.
and of course you are a 100% attender, home and away, especially when the game is a sell-out…
Except for when you were online:

(wi-fi on the skateboard back from Sunderland was there?)
Part-timer.
Is that the one similar to:
“Giggs, Giggs will tear you apart…” Sung at Old Trafford since approx 1995?
Ever thought that a hell of a lot of those at Warrington tonight may have been singing that since about 1995 when watching their football team?
