Only* and asumed* slacking Jamesey. You know what, and you spelt asumed wrong again
As did you – twice. It’s a double ‘s’.
I think presume would be more suitable in that situation too.
On topic – no football top to a party.
PS. Spelt is a type of wheat. I think you were looking for ‘spelled the words incorrectly’.
And don’t start a sentence with a conjunction.:)
I hope irony was intended.
maybe just maybe we have a lot of dyslexic people who post on here! ;):o
Wondered how long it would be before somebody rolled out this excuse.
Nah pal, think you’re trying to twist what has been said.
Why on earth would I bother doing that? Why do the ones who can’t write insisting on having language arguments all day? And why do I bite? :?
To suit your own point of view? :roll:Aimed at me presumably? More literate than most of the posters on here.
You bite usually because of your hatred for myself or James.
I only posted because somebody was poking fun at somebody elses grammar. I know I’m not perfect but I strive to be as good as I can.
. In fact it was you who that was wrong, as you quite correctly pointed out.

Come again?Nah pal, think you’re trying to twist what has been said. Re-read what has been put and it should come to you. ;)
If you look at his original post he did type ‘typo’s’.(More than one.)
It’s funny you being the self-appointed voice of grammar and then come out with a sentance as backward as that.
Where did I say I was the self-appointed voice of grammar? There is nothing wrong with that sentence. I only posted because somebody was poking fun at somebody elses grammar. I know I’m not perfect but I strive to be as good as I can.
Typographical errors.
Get it?
Jimmy wrote:-
Typo’s is short for typographical error
He didn’t write typographical errors. Had he done so, you would have been right. But he didn’t, so you just look like a bit of a chump.
Edinburgh – sorry, I should be able to resist too, but like SW, I just can’t.
Thing is, Jimmy didn’t write either of those statements ‘chump’.If you look at his original post he did type ‘typo’s’.(More than one.)
So thank you, you’re correct, I am right.
‘Typo’s’ as Mr. James put it could be left as it is because the apostrophe could be representing omission. Typo’s is short for typographical error. An example of this omission rule would be shortening Government to gov’t or 1970 to ’70s.
So your little dig at the end makes no sense.
Very good:
Gov’t? Yes, those letters are included in that word, and there are some missed out. For reference also look up wasn’t, hasn’t, didn’t, can’t, I’m…etc. So where does the s appear in typographical for it to be an abbreviation? Typographicals?
Typos is slang, but nevertheless, still a plural. So, to reiterate, no apostrophe required.
My post was in jest as I was poking fun at James for picking up the on grammar of other posters.
Edit: Just seen that I made a typo (or typo’s) in my original post. Hang my head in shame and go to the back of the class.
Typographical errors.Get it?
the beginning of your sentence please. :D
I don’t post many with incorrect spelling…only typo’s. :D
Where did you go in Ireland?
I corrected the poor grammar for you.
You missed the apostrophe in typo’s.It’s a plural, so no apostis required.
But hey, my opinion’s don’t matter eh Jame’s?
Fishing=win
But they’re still top of the league.
Irate at one loss whereas we’re fucking chuffed when we win.
Top of the league losing vs bottom of the league vs battling for relegation and beating a top 4 team , know which I’d prefer.
Sort your priorities out pal.
Changed your opinion yet?
