Hell fire. So much for our academy plans. Five nil against a club of that stature can’t spell promise for the future!
That’s a tad unfair.
A work colleague’s lad plays for the the under 14’s and he tells me they have a fairly good set up for a small club.
Personally I like everything exactly how it is….
You will always have your elite sitting at the top but its not just in football that happens is it!
The only change I would make is to increase the amount of money that is distributed down the leagues.
I heard you are a prick, but I don’t believe everything I hear, do you?goodpost
Only joking, no need to get your line in a twist ;)
They are very welcome on my coach. That would be ill advised.
I hear your coaches are full of stella drinking skin heads
You mean our player of the season last year, voted for by the fans, fickle or what?Did you vote for him?
TFG
No I didn’t, I voted for Gomez.
Still hope it is not true any way.
We will be playing 1 at the back next season at this rate.
And it will be Caldwell :(
Getting on a bit though isn’t he.
Maybe bickymon can link his arm….
I am talking in the literal sense of if you can’t spare £50 for x football match then £200 for y football match surely seems out of the question. But if you are saying you cant afford to go to every game but are going to the final are you not being a hypocrite in your above statement?
What the difference between x football match and all the ones you didn’t attend?
what is the score with ramis ok i know bad injury and all that
but didnt he have a get out in his contract regarding relegation , when i was in mallorca talking to some locals they said ramis had a get out clause and a possible return if things went tits up
you heard owt on those lines salford ?You are asking us to believe, you managed to meet “some locals” in “Mallorca” while you was on holiday who happened to not only know the details of Ramis’s contract but bumped into a Wiganer to discuss those details.
My god I wonder what odds a bookie would give on that scenario happening in the REAL world.
You’re going to look like a right plebb if it turns out to be true ;)
Next time I get paid is 10th of may just before the cup final I will have just enough for the Swansea Match having paid out for Wembley and travel plus paid bills .
So in short get te feck
You do realise that you are arguing with a fictional argument that Griff made up?
I don’t go to every game, as I said. But if you are living that close to the edge you can’t afford West Brom, you probably shouldn’t have a season ticket and you probably shouldn’t be at Wembley either. That is what you said Ross that wound me up…
The point that you are ignoring being made by many that I will reiterate as you are obviously hard of understanding is that you do not know what someones particular set of circumstances are on attending that game i.e West Brom.
So don’t turn around and tell them what they can and cant spend their money on!
I could put it on the flip side and say If you can afford to pay £100+ to attend the final why cant you attend a couple more away games?
Glory hunter!

The rent goes off the matchday income apparently so strangely enough as a fan of WAFC, SDW should want the crowds to be sizeable.
My perception of the situation has just changed dramatically.
Up the warriors! (well the crowds anyway)
I THINK that is how it works
Holding you to it now pal ;)
I don’t see were we have to get anything frumpt themeruts.
If we write that game off and villa do the same with Chelski game, albeit at home, that leaves us with a must win game for each club against Swansea and Norwich respectively.
If villa beat Norwich then fair play to um, but if they lose, that means we then have to turn um over at home and e presto done it again!
Wilst all that’s going on, who knows what will happen to Newcastle, Sunderland or Norwich, if Villa beat um.
Come on boys lets go into battle!

Jrfatfan,
Don’t bet against Villa getting something off a weakened Chelsea side in a game played 3 days before the Europa final. You know what Benitez is like for resting players. I can see Villa picking a point up…..and that point could send us down.
Would they really play a weakened team and risk missing out on a CL place, whilst trying to win the Europa cup?
Not while Abromovich is holding a gun to his head.
Hmmmm after reflecting on the above comments I have another theory into the thinking of Martinez behind Figgers and a new contract.
As his contract was under the old regime I would imagine he was closer to the top of the earners ladder.
If Martinez is thinking let him go and pull someone in that is the caliber of Ramis for less money then he has my backing completely.
I hope “dogmatic” was an intended pun on your behalf Hakey.
