1. It’s still in our own hands – tonight’s result (ignoring goal difference) didn’t actually matter
2. Newcastle, Sunderland and even Norwich have been sucked back in – points will be dropped by one or more of them and/or Villa
3. Whilst a 2 horse race was simpler to track, more teams in the mix is good for us – if we can better than match just one of the 4 teams above us in the next 2 games it is still on
4. All of us have tough games incl. games vs the top 5
5. We have a game in hand
6. Our performances have warranted points and we nearly got all 3 on Saturday. I know I sound like Bob, but keep this up and points will come…won’t they?
Newcastle have QPR away
Sunderland have Stoke at home
Norwich v Villa x
we have to win 3 from 4 to have any chance anything less and it’s taters
Newcastle wont win at QPR. Harrys a proud man and will want to go down with a win
Blunderland are shot at..they wont beat Joke
Norwich will want to give Lambert a hiding…Delia’s special even B)
West Brom are totally overated..we can and will win there
Swansea have overperformed for 2 years…we will beat them Gap for other matters
Arsenal, well we won there last year so whats the worry?
Villa…will not be our last Prem game
That was probably what you were aiming at before tonight, and it’s what you’ll still be aiming for
Sessegnin, Sunderland’s best player was sent off for violent conduct too. That will hurt them
It’s still in your hands and you now have 4 teams to shoot at
Norwich, Sunderland, Villa and Newcastle. One of them will slip up badly and the most likely is Newcastle. They only have 1 home game left, and that’s to Arsenal. They could lose the lot. QPR will be difficult to beat as they’ll be playing for pride.
We just have to keep Villa within reach, and beat them on the final day. If Sunderland or Newcastle fall within reach too, then all the better.
Look at Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle – their form is fluctating wildly.
And Villa have a home game with Chelsea (away game 8-0 to Chelsea), Newcastle have a home game with Arsenal (away game 7-3 to Arsenal) and Sunderland have to play Spurs away (home game 2-1 to Spurs).

I’m not one to question people’s support, and I’m aware how expensive the last few weeks have been for Latics fans, but I don’t know why we aren’t taking 2,000+ to WBA. It’s a massive game, tickets are reasonable, it’s not too far away, it’s eminently winnable.
If you can’t be bothered for this game when can you be?

Had we not been at Wembley the following week, I would definitely have gone to the Hawthorns, the scene of our first top flight away win.

Bulls**t. How expensive can it be to get up and down to Birmingham for arguably one of Wigan’s biggest ever games in the Premiership?
