It’s a long time since we had a player who scores his fair share of headed goals. :cheer:
It’s a long time since we were putting crosses in that someone could head goalwards. Corners that can’t beat the first man, crosses that are overhit or go out of play.

Can we not have a geriatrics forum on hereI thought this was it. I’m confused now. :(
Because Leigh is a huge journey, isn’t it?
Perhaps we’re trying not to add extra strain on the pitch?
Could explain why the Japanese win nothing too

can this piece of crap thread end now it has reached 1000, no wonder this board is deadI did ask if it was time to end this thread – and people said no, despite me being told by plenty of people that they are bored rigid by it.
Just checked the new stadium’s website strategic plan, and that says “In June 2012 BFC purchased the 7.6 acre site at Lionel Road South from Barratt Homes Ltd and is now assessing options to develop a viable scheme that can deliver a completed stadium by July 2016.”
So there’ll be another season at Griffin Park.
Am I right in thinking we’ll be the last ever team to visit Griffin Park? What a great excuse to visit all 4 pubs again.I think you could be right, as building work on the new stadium is due to start this Summer.
Rugby league men calling a nondescript little tournament played between 3 countries that only actually have a regional competition and a couple of south pacific islands, ‘the word cup’
Which 3 Countries are they then?
You tell me, better still name me the other nations that give this nonsense of a sport legitimacy to call a competition ‘the rugby league world cup’ – flaming hell those notorious insular sports of baseball, basketball and American football are played professionally in more places than the M62 game.
To be honest the baseball “World Series” has less legitimacy.
The signs were there at the Olympics two years ago when they finished bottom of their group without a win and without scoring a goal.
The build up, the expectation, then the disapointment :(Are we still talking about the World Cup?
You drove past my house and didn’t call in???? ;)Not only an egg-chaser but a Chelsea fan too?  ;)
Pundits who say that the Premier League is one of the hardest, most taxing etc. which is why England don’t do well.
Failing to notice that many of the top performing stars from elsewhere play in the Premier League too.
Like this sort of thing – loathe it!
