Roberto Martinez is set to meet Liverpool’s owners in the United States on Thursday after holding talks with them in England over the weekend.
Source?
Completely agree Salford.
But I was just pointing out that what has happened in the past has no bearing whatsoever on the future.
History will not bring us (England) down – lack of current talent and ability will.
England are a country mile behind Germany at football with only 2 victories of note against them in 46 years !!… and United had beaten Latics how many times…?
And this by that lovable Scouser, Mr Reade:-http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/brian-reade-on-liverpool-why-i-fear-for-liverpool-839038
To be honest that one article alone is sufficient for Roberto to tell them to go whistle
It must be said that Krauts crying is quite funny.
What’s the word? – oh yes – Schadenfreude
Thought this was interesting
AVB in talks with LiverpoolParticularly where it says:
“Roberto Martinez remains the bookmakers’ favourite to succeed Dalglish but, after having spoken to Aston Villa on Thursday, he did not have talks with Liverpool on Friday”It seems quite common knowledge that Solskjaer is in the frame for Villa, and I just wonder if Bobby has had a talk with Villa, then had a serious think about what HE wants, and has decided that actually he’ll be better off staying at Wigan.
Just a thought, like.
The link works just fine :)
Right click, “save picture”.
For the benefit of those of us with over-zealous office internet police, who has actually signed a new contract?James McArthur, Griff
I think that this summarises things rather well.
You’re both just showing off that you’re rich enough to buy Warburtons.
What’s wrong with Asda Square Cut, huh? ;)
…. besides that medium and thick are the same
Just moving away from the gags for a moment, has anyone noticed that you cant get a thin sliced loaf any more ? Its either medium or toastie ( Thick ) !.. and actually have you compared the thickness of medium and thick? They’re the same
What about Brendan Rodgers?
Plays the same style, and it would really p-off the Swans that we pinched two managers from them
Personally – I don’t think Liverpool will go for Martinez (not enough experience) and I think (hope) he’ll be here in August.
