Somebody once said it was to do with the seats being unallocated but that is easily solved albeit harder to police I suppose.
Certainly capacity is reduced if seats or unallocated, or there is suspicion people will sit wherever they choose.
We all know from Latics away days that the 5 to 3 rush from the pub means people are everywhere, although you can still see empty seats all over the place that groups of lads are unwilling to go and sit alone in away from their mates.
The general rule used to be 10% I think, which accords with what you say.
I’m not sure how you think it will be “easily solved”.
The seats will have been allocated but trying to enforce it is almost impossible. As I say I really am no expert on this, but I suspect it will depend on who the opposition is.
A lot of these things have to be agreed with the police, and while you are right that most clubs have a fair collection of knobs Leeds have the reputation, which would make the GMP wary of allowing too many, their own ability to mount any sort of operations in a totally crowded concourse, and what Yorkshire Police’s intelligence about who is actually travelling. These things are known about trouble makers.I think the limitation is to do with the capacity of the concourse and the potential for problems there. Leeds fans are known to be volatile, and rather than a large number going to their seats and sitting quietly there is the potential that they will be causing mayhem on the concourse, so numbers are limited to enable better control.
I may of course be wrong. One eye on Saturday maybe ….That doesn’t really make sense.
Millwall was a far more winnable game, so go for the points in that one.He can soon turn from hero to villan. Should at least be working the goalkeeper from the spot.?.For me the keeper had even gone early, he just needed to roll it in

What does that even mean?
You were obviously never a steam-train spotter, Phil :D
You’ll just have to highlight the above link and then search Google for image as for some reason it won’t let me share the image directly?

But goal line technology used on the day proved otherwise.
Have they got it in the Championship these days??
I thought it was PL only.
Been in place in the Championship since last season apparently
👌 @SPORTSLABSLTD are currently doing a final installation test of the goal line technology system at the @DWStadium ahead of the new @SkyBetChamp campaign. #wafc pic.twitter.com/t46fm5jGuS

Windass is also on 4 cautions, so just one away from a suspension
3 I imagine for a violent conduct straight redCorrect

those are kids who have paid around £23 for the whole season
But isn’t that the perfect definition of a growing fanbase?
Kids turn into adults and these aren’t giving allegiance to United or Liverpool.I’ve said before that I predict in a few years some of the bigger clubs will convert to rugby union, as that’s where bigger money and higher national profile will be, as RL caters for smaller and smaller audiences. Once a few go, like Warriors, Saints, Leeds, then the game will end up being on a par with hockey.
I don’t have a clue how businesses are run and I may have got the wrong end of the stick, but after a quick skim through, before my brain started hurting too much, I think it’s safe to say we won’t be spending fortunes on new players. Now whether that means we also won’t be giving big pay rises to our current squad I have no idea, but it looks like the focus will be on developing youth.
That’s my interpretation too. The focus will be on developing our own – something people on here have championed for ages, so let’s see who now decides it’s a bad idea.
The focus is however to get to teh PL, but they (tbh like the Whelans) look as though they will be careful custodians, which to me is a good idea.
They will not be splashing huge amounts of cash like some owners, who then lose interest or who panic if things go wrong. The new owners seem to be aiming for the PL, but also accept that there may be a risk of relegation again and are mitigsating for it. They will manage the budgets carefully.
I quite like what I read. -
