Good job Stefan Kuntz isn’t still playing
Within the last year I was at a meeting with some of our people from Belfast.
They literally (and I mean literally in a literal sense) could not believe that I was allowed a Wigan Athletic mug in work. Not that it was Wigan Athletic :D but that they were not allowed to show allegiance to any particular sporting organisation that may thereby display a sectarian bias.
How on earth do you explain that it’s a game when otherwise very rational people see nothing wrong in that!!
Tell you what though SW – if it were me I’d claim it. Very good article :D
To be honest – if someone needs to be provided with free transport to decide whether to come along to the Stoke game then I give up…..
I had no doubt he could score. I have actually seen him score live! (There’s a quiz question – when could I possibly have done that – it was in England but NOT for Latics?)
I just think the set-up wasn’t to his style – like Scotland et al.
How about we go out and beat West Ham and Stoke… and not depend on favours from anyone else??
Is that like seeing Jesus in a cheese toastie?
I’m not getting into a war about this (obviously – not my style), but when I first went in the stewards on the door said “supporters club OR SEASON TICKET”.
If they’re wrong then they need to be re-apprised.
He is dead then?Well they’ve dumped him into the sea off one of their ships – so if he wasn’t, then I’ll bet he is now.
I’m experiencing a different “problem” – not earth-shattering but annoying. If I hit my back button to go back to the previous page I have to press it twice, if you see what I mean.
If it ain’t broke……
I well remember listening to his fights on the radio (not televised live then) – waiting for “‘Enery’s ‘ammer”.
Unfortunately always seemed to end (in my memory maybe) with Harry Carpenter saying “there’s a cut over Cooper’s right eye”.
RIP – a gent.
A little bit – there were other teams I would have been less sorry to go. Darlington and Hartlepool were always down there and would not have cost me one iota of concern.

Can I clarify please?
Today it was said that you could only get in next match before the game by buying a ticket, but on this link you say that any SC member can get in before the game. I understand about needing a ticket after the game, but do I have to pay on top of my SC membership if I want to come in before the game.
I also am a bit confused as to what’s needed to get in anyway – the stewards on the door seem to accept season tickets as acceptable for entrance. After years of paying a fiver a season to sit in the refugee camp it does seem a bit, well, off now we have somewhere reasonable that isn’t SC only.
The question for me is what is our striker doing in our area? He should be up the field, out of harm’s way, dragging a couple of their players with him.
We consistently defend far too deep, and packing the area means the ball ricochetes around dangerously.
