              I was bored this afternoon and reading some Swansea stuff. Some of their fans were moaning that the atmosphere is terrible there and only 12,000 home fans (yes i know) turned up yesterday even though they are flying high in the Championship.

              However, let them enjoy their cup final.

              All you are doing is giving them the impression that we have the vaguest interest in them. They are a lower division club that we are playing in the Carling Cup. It could have been Brentford. It could have been Northampton. It happens to be the least interesting of the bunch. Even the Welsh consider people from Swansea are inbreds.

              I really don’t care if they bring 4 or 40,000.

              So they want to abuse our manager? I quite enjoy abusing Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce and Harry Redknapp. It’s what fans do.

              And to be honest I don’t even know who THEIR manager is (I know I could Google it – but you get the point).

              Let them wallow. Just think of them as Warriors fans with a Welsh accent.

                And if you have a player down with an injury that everyone in the ground knows means he’s going to be carried off – have your substitute ready to come on when aforementioned injured player crosses the touchline.

                Particularly if the instructions you seem intent on passing on are “he’s a midfielder, so are you, play like you have the whole of your career”. It’s not like we were asking Hugo to play in nets was it?

                          I rather suspect that UEFA view the Serbs poorly, so will hit them hard.
